At The Dome - Carta

Beautiful restaurant with stunning views. Service was friendly and the food was lovely, but we had to wait over an hour for our main course.

Great food,great service but iam not fond of dogs in a food establishment,had cream tea and excellent,I've had many cream teas and one of the best

Ordered luxury hot chocolate. When almost finished brought out small plate of mini marshmallows as they forgot to put them in the hot chocolate!!!! Ver carta

Celebrated a birthday as a group of 7. The atmosphere was lovely and the choice of food was great and a very competitive price. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Went with a group of 8 for Sunday lunch. The place wasn’t too busy, the service was reasonable and the food was fine. Nothing outstanding but certainly not bad. The decor is good, and the views are fantastic!

Lovely location with a great view out over the water. Unfortunately, we were there on a foggy day, so couldn't see loads. Lovely meal, though, and Michael, our waiter, was a lovely, friendly, smiley man. Thank you! Ver carta

Good food but really poor and unpleasant service. The waiter in the restaurant was rude both when welcoming and when placing the order. Not to say anything at the moment in which he practically invited us to leave because the table would be occupied half an hour later. An experience not to be repeated, a shame because the place deserves a lot.

Went in for breakfast (didn’t book). Not much of a welcome. No instructions as to whether it was table service or order at the bar. Dogs are allowed. This can be seen as a good or bad thing. No interaction from staff. I’m not sure if it is meant to be like that or if they were just busy. There was the 2 for 1 offer on breakfasts at the time. Food took a while but it was delicious. Fresh and hot. Obviously you can’t beat those views from your table.

So disappointed in our meal at The Dome. We had a lovely seat in the window but the service was shocking. It took a while to take our order but it took even longer to serve the food. We asked for no sauce on the burgers but that didn’t happen. We didn’t send them back for fear of it taking so much longer. Nobody spoke to us during our wait or asked if we would like any more drinks. When they asked about the food it had only just been served (different waitress). Then it took them 30mins to clear the table after we had finished. They weren’t that busy and plenty my staff just waiting at the serving hatch rather than checking on tables.
