This place is terrible, it's not a true representation of a traditional British chip shop.

Avoid this shop AT ALL COST ! Unfriendly and cold shop keeper weird taste greasy and burnt yuck

The food was slightly overcooked and dry, which was disappointing. I would not choose to dine here again. It was not terrible, but there are definitely better dining options available. Ver carta

I and my friend got chips and cheese w gravy she got w garlic, she got gravy instead of going back, he simply put garlic sauce on top not the gravy away, the gravy was watery and disgusting. my friend was sick and still sick.

Ordered via justeat and it was delivered by a restaurant I hadn't ordered from. The whole order was a disgrace. Cold, burnt, chewy and just yuk. Whole thing ended up in the bin. Tried calling the restaurant but no answer. Won't be using again.

Popped in for a haddock supper, chipper is tidy and clean enough, sells everything, even pukka pies Was sitting down asked if I wanted salt and vinegar, When I opened the box half way home , chips and a cold haddock, haven't been back,...Such a shame! A tad expensive toosalt Ver carta

This restaurant is terrible with unfriendly staff. The food was cold and had a strong burnt oil smell. I didn't even receive a receipt for my order, despite asking for one. The staff overcharged me for the food and claimed that the prices were updated in their system but not reflected on the menu. Strange experience.

DO NOT ORDER HERE! The delivery was late and when it finally did arrive food from my order was missing called up to find out where it was and he said sorry we'll give you a free bag of chips next time!? Er i wont...be coming here again! He did not even offer me a refund for my missing items. The food well that was just as bad as the customer service! The chips were stale and ice cold, and just about everything else was burnt. This is the worst experience and takeaway I have ever had. My advice don't even try it. A complete waste of money.

I'm not a local and I leave loads of reviews right around the whole of the UK. Anyway had the misfortune of langstane chippy last week!!! Never ever again but..... The Donian was superb....5 star all round. I arrived just after they closed but met the owner at the shop back door....I asked if he was closed and he said no problem I'll make anything for you.....fish supper it was then. Tasted fantastic, perfectly cooked and nice guy too.....a well deserved 5 star review. I've not tried others apart from langstane Donian but Donian is like a 5 star hotel compared to langstane who basically got a one sentence review along with a grudged 1 star.
