Authentic Neapolitan cuisine. Excellent pizza. Good selection of Italian wines. Reasonably priced. Staff attentive and polite. Seafood pasta was as good as in Italy.

This is quickly becoming our local Italian . The food is great, fabulous home made bread and pizza dough. Great selection of inexpensive and very tasty wines. The owner is delightful, a great host and judging from the attitudes of the rest of the staff a great person to work for. Friday night is full of regulars so book!

The interior of the restaurant was lovely and our waiter, Don Giovanni, was excellent. He made us feel welcomed, guided us through the menu items, and had us sample different dishes. The food was delicious. We are visiting family in the UK for only a week, but this restaurant is definitely on our list of places to return to.

I've been to this place many times, and brought friends and family, especially when we've been to events at the arts centre opposite. This visit was a mistake, though. Booking for 8.45pm was probably my error perhaps it had been a busy evening. Service was certainly chaotic. A little dish of olives seems the easiest of starters, but it didn't arrive until I was half way through my pizza. The pizza itself was delicious, though extremely doughy and perhaps undercooked. Thankfully, the area has plenty of other places to try, and probably better value that this one. Ver carta

This was everything you'd hope for and expect from a good night out in Italy without the cost of the flights! Really is an exciting venue. Fabulous menu with excellent ingredients. The least expensive white wine on the list was perfect. The staff were genuinely friendly, gave great advice and recommendations and happily went off to ask the chef if we had any other questions. They also kindly accommodated our request to move our booking back to 9pm as we had been held up. To new, prospective customers, I would just say don't be put off by the restaurant name; sounds like a pizza joint it is anything but!

I recently returned to this restaurant after being away for a few years. My partner and I sat on the balcony on a beautiful summer evening and the food was excellent. We love this restaurant, however, we were slightly disappointed when the Rosé we wanted was not available and was replaced with a different wine without informing us. This replacement was then charged to our bill at a much higher price than expected, £38 for an £8 wine! We felt a bit deceived, but didn't want to mention it as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and didn't want to ruin the meal. Despite this, we still enjoyed our dining experience and would consider coming back again in the future.

The restaurant downstairs is cute but small, with only 24 seats where you are very close to your neighbor's table. The service was nice, starting with a bottle of cold water and good fresh bread. Unfortunately, the wine selection was limited to varietal with no mention of producer or vintage year, which was disappointing for serious wine drinkers. The pizza margarita was good, although it could have had more flavor. We were not impressed with the linguine vongole as the clams were not in the shell, making it difficult to discern their freshness. The clams did not taste fresh and the sauce was overly oily with little clam juice or flavor. Prices were fair, but we are unlikely to return based... Ver carta
