"My friend booked afternoon tea requesting a Savoury option.On arrival confirming our choice it was pointed out that Savoury content was part of the Tea. .Sandwiches nice,Savoury game pie 2 small sausage rolls (warm greasy), selection of cream cakes +2 small scones (cold) with jam cream. Tea was served in a Large China T.pot which was extremely heavy to deal with on small table ,but no hot water jug.Consequently tea was very strong tasted stewed. The Venue Staff very pleasant when we were asked if everything was ok we did voice our suggestions ie a Savoury option /cheese fruit!! I would suggest tea served in single smaller t.pots as you would normally get as this 2 single Afternoon teas not A.noon tea for 2,hence the price £27.00 each."

We are so fortunate to have the Dovecote and Roosters restaurants at Morley Hayes just a few minutes drive away from home. Delicious food, waiters are very attentive, (thanks Michelle) and super nice atmosphere. Can totally recommend it and will definitely be going back again. Thanks NPaget
