"A long time back I gave this place a raving review… and I could have done so throughout the years after each and every one of our visits there. Now, with autumn here and the menu featuring game again, we quickly booked a table and wanted to enjoy (another) superb meal composed of different venison specialties. As expected, everything was delicious… but to our surprise, each order came on a single plate; meat with all the traditional game trimmings, Spätztle and vegetables. It was so crowded that the dish actually looked messy. Nothing stood out, especially not the meat which is supposed to be the featured part of the meal. And not only that, it was rather difficult to cut the fillet without pushing one or the other item off the plate. Again, the cooking was perfect (so was the service), but overloading a plate takes the joy away from eating."

"Booked here for a party of four because had been informed that there was a new tenant and new chef and because of the magnificent view this restaurant enjoys. We found the service terrible, only 3 staff to service a full restaurant, the filets de perches were ok but the sole meunière fried until they were entirely dry and when I saw one waiter serve and prepare the filets at another table, he was so clumsy that we asked to be served the entire soles on our plates and not just the filets. The fries that were confirmed to be house made were not but just deepfrozen stuff every one can by him or herself in the supermarket. However the local Chardonnay from Tartegnin was a pleasant discovery. We took no starter no dessert, just paid and left and will never return."

"Sprachen des Personals: Französisch Englisch Je nach Person auch Deutsch. Zimmer: Sind sauber, stylisch und für eien kurzen Aufenthalt Top. Die Dusche wird durch eine Glastüre vom Zimmer getrennt (für Geschäftsreise zu zweit, eher unpraktisch). Lage: Obwohl das Hotel direkt neben dem Bahnhof liegt ist es sehr ruhig ausgenommen hierbei sind die Züge, je nachdem kann es sein das man diese im EG spürt. Die Tiefgarage hat einige Plätze, ebenso noch drei zusätzliche vor dem Hotel. Gland ist sehr gut erreichbar da sie einen Autobahnanschluss hat. Essen: Das Frühstück ist eher süss ausgeleht. Auf Wunsch kann auch Rüherei bestellt werden. Da wir wegen Corona auch das Abendessen inklusive hatten, kann ich da etwas Auskunft geben: Da ich annehme, dass in der Küche ein Gourmet Koch steht, war das Essen dementsprechend Qualitativ. Osterspezial waren 6 8 Gänge (je nachdem wie man es anschauen möchte). Das Essen war sehr gut, jeder Gang unglaublich Geschmackvoll, allem voran der Hauptgang. Ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert ist der Dessert. Denke zu normalen Zeiten, sind es 4 5 Gänge."

"Made reservation via TripAdvisor. Upon arrival they had no reservation and table wasn’t ready. They sent me from the restaurant to the cafe and back again. Was not welcomed in a friendly manner. They finally made a table minutes later. We had to sit...ourselves as we were not told that it was ready. No menu so we got it ourselves. Finally mins after reservation our order was taken. That was tough with little starving kids! Overall we didn’t feel very welcome. Restaurant indeed was busy but friendly service is still possible. Surprised for lack of service since they proudly display TripAdvisor ratings and management responds to comments. Malakoff were indeed amazing!"
