"I love Duke Of Somerset! It’s always lively with a diverse crowd. The staff are always cheerful and attentive. On this occasion, the restaurant was packed with reserved tables, and our table was at the end of a large party of 40. They kindly rearranged the seating to accommodate us more comfortably. The menu includes Wray Nephew, which is always a plus, but I made the trip mainly for their chicken wings, and they definitely didn’t disappoint!"

They had a good time during their visit to the restaurant, but they were disappointed with the limited drink options - no beer on tap and the bottled drinks were quite expensive.

I visited the Duke Of Somerset with a friend after a theatre show without a reservation, and we will definitely return! The pub is charming, the food is delicious, and the staff on Tuesday were welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

A great pub, somewhat let down by the architecture. The building has a very 70s feel. However, there is not a lot we can do about that! So, the pub itself. Great welcoming, lovely staff and great beer. A success and one that I shall continue to visit because I enjoy the company. A solid place. Ver carta

the duke of somerset is a great place for a sunny day. they have a fantastic terrace with picnic chairs surrounded by green, so it is a bit of an oasis from the huge buildings of the city. also the drinks are sooo good priced, I paid £3,50 for a glass red wine £6,80 for a double shed with fever.

This lively pub provides prompt service at the bar and fair prices considering its location. The outdoor space is large with plenty of seating, offering a pleasant escape from the surrounding busy streets. With plenty of space for groups and events, along with a wide variety of tables, it’s a great place for get-togethers. The bar is stunning, and I’m certainly looking forward to returning.
