Went this afternoon for first visit. Excellent service friendly and polite staff . Best pub food we have had for a long while. Not cheap but worth every penny. The chef is brilliant don't change your staff. We will most certainly visit again.

We enjoyed a delightful dining experience with a fantastic menu. Our waitress was wonderful and very friendly. First time visiting today and was so happy we did. The young lady was kind and pleasant and very accommodating our dog was looked after with fresh bowl of water. The food was gorgeous hubby said one of the best burgers he's had in a pub in a long time. I ordered roast beef Sunday lunch was asked how I wanted my meat cooked but unfortunately it was quite ready so went for my second option of the chicken and leek pie and wasn't disappointed. We will be returning

I stopped in for a late lunch and found it to be quite peaceful, likely due to the time being after 2 PM. We started with some delicious nachos and then moved on to the main courses: a chicken, ham, and leek pie served with chips and peas, as well as the Sunday special, which featured chicken stuffed with stuffing and vegetables. To be a bit picky, I noticed that the chicken was slightly dry, probably due to the late hour, but overall we had a lovely meal. The menu is appealing and varied, and the prices are reasonable.
