Lovely family run restaurant in central Turin. Extremely friendly staff owner . We chose two main dishes and both were excellent including the carbonara- always difficult to achieve.

kind, but slow service, very small place, there is no air conditioning, an exaggerated heat. ordered a first to the matriciana seasoning very salty, the grilled chicken, which then was cooked in a decidedly salted pot....chicchi di sale co....un qui pro quo on the ordered drinks....insomma a normal place. Restaurant/bistrot very suggestive and particular, almost domestic atmosphere given by the furniture and the few tables inside (there is also someone outside). the lady who takes care of the room greeted us warmly making us feel almost at home, very kind and helpful in the service. Various menu and very good prices to be in the city center. I recommend it.

First and foremost the owners are gracious and very giving. The food was outstanding and we will go back before we leave to go to Verona next week. We shared two dishes. Gnocchi with pesto and mini raviolis with a lemon/parm sauce. They were both luscious. Do make a reservation because it is a small, quaint place that can only accommodate so many clients. We stopped here for a small breakfast on our way to the Egyptian Museum. The pro’s: great location, with a few tables outside, English being spoken, tasty coffee. We wanted a more filling breakfast and the lady who served us offered to make a sandwich which was very tasty. Con’s: the croissants on the other hand were stale, certainly a day old. Two more things left a sour taste: we could not use the toilet, though their sign said you could use it for orders above 5 eur and I had to pay cash though I could see there was a card reader.
