Choosing is difficult on the square but El Tipico is certainly worth trying out. Great tapas, delicious cocktails and friendly staff.

A good choice of traditional Spanish tapas In a lively student street in Montpellier. Being vegetarians we found the choice of dishes reasonable. The waiter was welcoming, and helpful. Ver carta

The service was nice enough but sadly the rest was disappointing. The food wasn’t great at all (I would be ashamed to serve this to my friends). And the sangria didn’t taste like sangria.

on the Montpellier, we passed in front of the tipico that gave us desire, but it was still too early for lunch. After a small visit, we went back to this place and without regret: to win, good Spanish music. The tapas plate for three is perfect. very good eggplant fries with honey. pleasant terrace for lunch. we took the dish to 25€ to share for 2 that they adapted for 3 people. 37,5€ to us 3.A superb mix of fresh tapas, homemade, fast service and very nice. a little bit of everything, from croquetas to chorizo, zucchini doughs, calamar fried, aïoli, sausage, acclaimed cod, hot onion goat toast, eggplant fries, tomato tortilla tartine cheese, marinated chicken skewers.

the very nice, very smiling and very pleasant season. However the boss sees alcohol in full service, he behaves in a very aggravating and haughty way. the mojito passion either saying with alcohol had no taste or alcohol or passion. Took the 25 euro tapas for 2. Very disappointed by the tastes of the different tapas and the presentation. Tapas were served on a thick layer of roughly cut lettuce with whole leaves as well. When you have only a small fork to eat with, the salad should at least have been well prepared. The croquettes were ok but lacked some taste. The worst was the chicken skewer, was fried too much until burnt and dry. The sweet potato fries were burnt as well. The calamari rings were dry and the batter didn't taste good. Can't understand the good reviews about this place except for the friendly staff. Would not recommend to anyone. Ver carta
