Tasty food and friendly staff. You can't say better than that. When we arrived at around 6 on a Tuesday evening the place was empty but soon filled up. By far my favourite Indian restaurant. Russell front of house always friendly and keeps all the serving staff on thier toes. Good selection of drinks, especially wines and Gins... lots of choice. Food is superb and the team will happily adjust the spice level if you prefer. They also have a few different dishes based around Venison and Fish... booking at weekend advised. Where do I even begin? I'm truly a fan now! I absolutely love the food, and the staff are fantastic. It’s a lovely place to relax and unwind, with two floors to enjoy. Having booked a table by telephone just a little while earlier one evening recently we arrived on foot to be courteously greeted and lead to our table. My sister, who lives in the village, had always assumed that this was a small place. How wrong she was. There was more than enough space for many diners. Any way, after ordering our drinks, mine being a chilled Kingfisher beer in a beautiful glass, I ordered onion bhajis as a starter and the garlic chicken curry prepared at the heat of a vindaloo at my crazy request.
