We have often picked up the delicious food. However, we were surprised by the extreme price increase. Service: 5 Location: 3

Rooms are a 10/10 only the food in the restaurant is very expensive and the portions are very small. Rooms: 5 Service: 3 Location: 4

Stopped on way back from ski holiday in Austria for great Hamburgers and home made fries and home made sauces! Great service, great value!!!

Ich war drei oder vier mal mit meiner Freunde. Sehr nettes Personal. Coole Ambiente. Das Essen schmeckt gut . Man kann schön essen, trinken und sich schön unterhalten. Weiter so

Wir waren schön öfter im "Engel" und immer wenn ein Besuch geplant ist, ist die Vorfreude groß: Das Essen ist total lecker und sogar die Burgerbrötchen und der Ketchup werden hier selbst hergestellt! Bedienung ist super freundlich und man sitzt gemütlich. Es gibt auch vegetarische Burger, die super lecker sind! Wärmstens weiterzuempfehlen!

We went through and did not want to stay in a standard hotel, as we usually preach smaller family-run hotels or guest houses. We were not disappointed, in contrast: modern, clean and individually furnished rooms. The shower was large, the bathroom was as good as new and the beds comfortable. It was calm and we could sleep well. The host nice and sympathetic. If the burgers would like to try and sit in the beer garden, but arrived quite late. Breakfast is perfect with cold cuts, cheese, jam, yogurt and Nutella among others. We want to come back. If there are only so small hotels.

Wir waren heute zum Burgeressen im Restaurant Engel in Niedernhausen. Die Burger sind super lecker, alles wird frisch zubereitet, inklusive der Beötchen, Pommes, Ketchup usw. Ich hatte den Raclette Cheeseburger. Dazu noch eine leckere Minz-Apfel Limonade oder ein leckeres Engel Bier von einer befreundeten Brauerei, wirklich super!!Das Restaurant ist modern eingerichtet, das Personal sehr herzlich, aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe hier, zum Glück hatten wir reserviert. Es war Rappelvoll. Zu zweit hätte man an der Theke oder den gemütlichen Sofas aber noch was bekommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

They remade/renovated the establishment back in 2014. The new strategy is a gourmet burger restaurant, which I would typically avoid. But I went and tested their menu. First, they have their own beer, which is fairly good. Second, the menu is mostly burgers....but absolutely better than your typical burger. Third, there is a outdoor garden area for summer periods.....which brings some charm and character to the establishment. Prices might be higher than you'd typically expect, but the quality of the dinner is four-star.....at least by burger standards. Nice place for a group of six to eight to visit. Definitely requires a reservation for Friday/Saturday night....limited tables on interior. A...
