Eric's Fish And Chips Thornham

Fresh fish (haddock) but batter and chips left a lot to be desired. Have been here before and had a great experience two years ago so was disappointed.

Eric's Fish and Chips are a real treat, literally some of the best fish and chips I've tasted and when ever we're up on the Norfolk coast Eric's is a must visit!

Great food a very varied and unusual menu I had chilli cod and black garlic mayo. Delicious. Big portions and very well priced. Will definitely be returning and recommending.

This was my first time dining at Eric's, despite knowing about it for a long time, and I have to say it was the best fish and chips I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back again.

We went as a large family group…our fish was ok but or chips were very dry and believe it or not they’d run out of mushy peas… Some of our group had pizzas which they all said were brilliant. Ver carta

After ordering, on line, nearly £80 worth of food. It was very disappointing to arrive at our allocated time to find you didn’t have two pieces to our order (buffalo wings) Would we like an alternative or a reimbursement? What was the matter with calling on the details you have to leave when ordering on line? The alternative we chose was cod, which was so so.

The service at this restaurant was extremely slow and very poor. They had run out of mushy peas and did not offer any gravy options. We even had to ask if the Cod was frozen because it tasted bad and overly fishy, which it should not be. The sausage was burnt and tasteless, while the chips were just okay. Overall, the experience was chaotic in a half-empty restaurant. This place used to be great but today I would recommend avoiding it at all costs. There are much better dining options in Hunstanton.

I have been a loyal customer of Eric's for nine years and absolutely adore this restaurant. The homemade tartar sauce is exceptional and the service is always top-notch. Although things can get a bit slow during busy times, it is understandable as everything is made to order. The restaurant also has a great play park for children, which my son really enjoys. There is plenty of parking available and the toilets are always clean. I never go anywhere else for fish and chips as Eric's is simply the best.
