"Amazing view which made for a pleasant visit. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Sadly food was disappointing. I had the chicken liver parfait which was really good apart from the bread could have done with more toasting as it all felt one texture. Then I had the lamb which was delicious but Luke warm and the gravy had made the carrot puree too runny. My friend had the beef roast but had the same issues. Plates were cold and so was her gravy so she had to send it back. I followed it up with a panacotta which had great flavour but was the wrong texture and the rhubarb was so tough I couldn't cut it. It was a shame because it was small things that spoilt our visit even though it was tastey."

Very friendly and professional staff. Good food. The bar area with pets is sweet, but the best part of the restaurant is at the back with sea views… unfortunately no pets allowed.

A pleasant lunch for our group of four Menu was varied, although biased towards interesting fish dishes. Prices were on the high side, although probably fair for what was on offer.

I’d been eying up the seafood sharing platter for months and it didn’t disappoint amazing! The team knew it was my birthday, I had a welcoming card and a window view seat, nice surprise, followed by complimentary petite fours for dessert. Service was friendly, thoroughly enjoying birthday meal! Ver carta

The cost of £16+ for a two-scallop starter is outrageous. While the location and view are always stunning, the value for money and quality of service have significantly declined in the years we have been visiting. The restaurant seems to have a sense of complacency and is relying too much on its past reputation.

We enjoyed a drink at the outdoor bar before having a fantastic meal with friendly service at this restaurant. They even added a special touch for a birthday celebration. The starters and mains, especially the seafood, were excellent. Don't miss the delicious lemon tart for dessert. This was our third visit and we can't wait to go back the next time we're in Norfolk.

"We had pre-booked a table for 6 people to have lunch at 2:15pm. We arrived on time and were shown to the table, which had only been set for 4 people which meant we had to pull a further 2 chairs up to the table, and had to request a wine list. We ordered a round of drinks for the table which took c. 15 minutes to arrive. We were waiting a considerable amount of time for a food menu. Eventually we called a waiter over to order some food and were told that the kitchen we no longer serving, despite having booked a table for lunch and not being warned of the kitchen closing time. The staff told us to be quick in ordering however took a further 10 minutes to come and take the order. The food eventually came and the waitress didn 't even put the food at the correct place, she merely put them on the table for us to distribute accordingly. When the bill eventually came, we politely requested the *optional service charge was removed from the bill as we did not feel that we had received adequate service to warrant a tip, to which the manager began shouting that it as shocking that we wanted to rightfully remove the tip. He went on to say that the kitchen staff had stayed over time to prepare our food. My question to the owner is this... if your chefs are unwilling to work over their hours, why are you offering a reservation close to closing time whilst your staff are incapable of processing the orders to the kitchens in the correct timescale and working hours. If we were told that the kitchen were closing soon, we would have cooperated with the staff to help them work to their time scales."
