"beautiful. what a beautiful place. we rarely dare over the road to trongate, but when we do, we have always made a note to go to this place. we were on Saturday night. the place was really busy so I would recommend the booking. when we arrived, there was a waiting queue from the door of men waiting to show their tables. they enter through a curtain and the dimly illuminated restaurant. everyone looked really happy and was happy to eat. the only mistake was a fairly dry pasta main. they also have the attached cafe e2 and they are connected by a corridor so that they can go there for a drink while waiting for their table. we would definitely return to esca."

As a Boston native, Esca reminded me of a restaurant in the North End. They served up delicious Italian food with a friendly smile and we will definitely be returning!

eating is a bit expensive, but the set menu is a good value. Drinks are expensive. service was fast and nice. pleasant atmosphere. I had the hunch with pfefferminzsauce, my partner had the lasagne, we were both satisfied with the quality of the food.

I made a reservation and it was accepted. It was a dinner set up between the 2 Harry Potter shows. We had to ran to make sure we made it on time. We got there and the restaurant is close. We are just visiting so we don't very much about the area. We thought we were in the wrong place. We tried calling the restaurant and nobody answered.

small Italian restaurant with many places to buy Italian food after having lunch / dinner. the service was excellent, my mouth was still watered when I went to the Deli area oh my lord! I had to buy the spicy, caramelized wobbles and of course the gloomy. it is so hard to resist this beautiful nutella canolli! we'll go back to dinner soon. grazzie mille introverted

Booked Esca on chance as it was near Glasgow Green and Barrowlands Ballroom. I was not disappointed, as we were shown quickly to our table and had prompt service. We were both able to order easily from the choices on the pre-theatre menu and I was impressed by the vegetarian 'meatballs ' with spaghetti. The bill was very reasonable for the food and wine we enjoyed and I would return!

three courses on a group. the divided plate for starter was a standard, parmalat ham, prosciutto and garlic brot was good. the dessert was also a standard sun visor that was also good. my head to be a simple carbonate was excellent. a simple, 5 ingredients, but made perfection. they can tell a lot about a place where they make the simple toy good. this was a great example for well made./ the restaurant itself was well furnished, personal attentive, but not overlaid. service as they would expect. I would go back.
