Clearly one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, and not only in Geneva... the food is simply incredible, I had the foie gras and the beef (which comes with a truffle-flavored potatoes purée), I couldn't even believe how good it was.

Owner is very keen on serving tasty and healthy food. By the way, he could be the brother of Eric Cantona. So do not disappoint him with your feedback or ordering! The best place are the tables close to the bar as they offer a cozy sitting. Finally, I like the beautiful and lively crowd.

If you like truffle this is the place to go. Service excellent if not a little quick. I went with the day's specials (although my daughter tells me they have been the specials for more than a day!!) Swiss Cheese with truffle, bread and salad followed by veal shepherds pie.....both excellent wife and daughter shared cheese and tomato starter and truffle pasta mains... all very rich but delicious. If you are in Eaux Vive worth a try and you will need to book!!

We ate in this restaurant on a Friday night. Despite the fact that the food is not bad at all, the restaurant is extremely noisy and it is absolutely impossible to hold a conversation without screaming.This is certainly due to the fact that the owners tried to squeeze in as many tables as possible which results in tables too close to each other (you literally have the impression of sharing the dinner with the customers sitting next to you). Price wise it is ok, but only if you have the "assiette genevoise" offer (otherwise it would be way to expensive).

We came in summer 2016 and there was new staff i had never seen before. They were not attentive to our table at all. We stayed from 7.30 until 11 and I had to ask for some water which they brought. Not once after that did any of the staff worry if we still had any. The food is delicious and so is the wine. I was previously welcomed by the owner who is pretty nice but even though he was around that night he wasnt welcoming customers or even saying hello to anyone, which i think is a mistake in my opinion. To get the bill, we had to ask numerous time and had to wait at least 25 minutes.

I heard a lot about this place so decided to try. After trying many restaurants in Geneva I can say that so far this was my worst experience in terms of service by far... We have waited for more than one hour until we received our starters, the waiters were rude and arrogant and when i mentioned i had a Buyclub coupon the reaction i got was at least bad. To be fair the food was not bad but also nothing extraordinary. Thus overall i would not recommend the place as you can find the same or better food in numerous restaurants around Geneva but with MUCH better service. It is also reassuring to see that other reviewers have had a very similar bad experience...

Ignore the fact that the French owner is everything that previous reviews say he is (he's French, he's passionate about his gaff, and he's on parade in his own show after all), just enjoy the food, which is truly outstanding, at least based on this visit. Starter of sliced beefsteak tomatoes and burrata with fresh pesto dressing: the largest, freshest burrata I've ever eaten outside Italy, and a lovely peppery rocket salad - in reality, easily big enough for two to share as a starter in fact. Main course Tuna steak, perfectly grilled and pink inside, again absolutely massive, and delicious. Not cheap (CHF198 for two), but nothing is in Geneva, but at least you felt it was worth it.

Absolutely incredible meal from start to finish - 3 courses! Will absolutely go back. Foie gras maison with grilled brioche was divine - large portion - VERY pleased. Both had beef for mains, the 'pot au feu' special and filet de boeuf - the truffle mashed potatoes with the steak was just incredible and my braised beef was so tender & flavourful; the steak as well.Dessert was one of the best I've ever had! The same brioche from the foie gras but into french toast with speculoos crumble & salted caramel Gelato on top. To. Die. For. Omg. First of all if you want to book a table here you end up on a voice message and are requested to leave your name, contact details, time and date you wish to have a table and then simply hope for the best. Oh, and it is all in French. When I arrived I was immediately told I had to vacant the table 1h45 later as they were double booked. Then I was asked at least 3 times within 10 minutes under what name I had made the reservation, at which point I was still the only one in the entire restaurant.
