This is a really delicious place for lunch! The staff is beautiful. My only wish is that they were open for more days!

Never had Mac’n’Cheese on bread, but it was definitely worth a try! Nice guy who waits this little cafe patiently with the sweetest dog to be cuddled by everyone. Come back to try the other options!

The award-winning mac n cheese toastie at this restaurant in Leith is a must-try! Don't forget to check out their market-only specials as well. The food is truly delicious. My only wish is that they were open more often, but I understand the challenges of balancing work and weekends.

The best grilled sandwich we’ve had in a long time. We both opted for the club med which was absolutely delicious and I already want to go back and work my way through the rest of the menu. Everything about this experience and food was exceptional! If you are nearby I really recommend going Ver carta

Delicious food, cute venue and friendly staff. However prices are a bit steep at 7 or 8 10 for breakfast burrito) Good selection of toasties and sandwiches. Baked goods also available (including sad looking cheesecake not in a fridge). Only have filter coffee, and milk is 30p a splash! Take cards. Sit in, takeaway, or delivery.

Although the food at this restaurant was delicious, I had to give it four stars due to the portion size for the price. They specialize in gourmet sandwiches and macaroni and cheese. Last time, I had the Reuben which wasn't bad, but maybe not the best on the menu as it had too much sauerkraut for my liking. I plan to go back to try something different and confirm my thoughts. However, they do offer a chocolate lava cake with vegan ice cream that I could eat fifteen of by myself.

We have never had less than amazing food from Faceplant, and often it’s just sublime. Really creative owners who are always trying new sandwiches and other vegan delights. Too many great options to mention here you’ll some in the pics but the cheeze and bakon they make themselves are just droolworthy and you will never go wrong with one of their toasties, including one piled high with mac and cheese (what will they think of next and the most amazing vegan tuna melt on the planet.
