Food and drinks: The best ale pie I've ever had! I met up with some friends there. The atmosphere was lovely and warm, and the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend this place!

First visit and not disappointed. Great food, portion sizes are ample. Good selection of food on the menus and specials board. Dog friendly. Car park can be a little awkward for larger vehicles. We were a group of 21 celebrating a birthday, so we ordered a variety of meals, appetizers, and desserts. Everything was fantastic! There were three types of soup to choose from, along with two mushroom dishes, pâté, salad, nachos, and more. The service was excellent; I couldn't fault it at all. I highly recommend the roast dinners, which also accommodate gluten-free options.

We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The pub is situated in a tranquil location, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the beer garden. The gluten-free stroganoff was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. My husband was very pleased with his lamb as well. The presentation and portion sizes were just right. Kudos to the chef! Plus, it's dog-friendly, which is a nice bonus.

We received a warm welcome from the owner, who made sure we were seated comfortably and promptly took our initial order. My wife and I chose to have lunch on Monday, and we were not disappointed. Our meal consisted of a generous portion of beautifully cooked, flavorful, and tender lamb, accompanied by seasonal vegetables. The friendly servers were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit.
