"AWFUL!!!!!! Waited for over an hour for food,only to be given not just the wrong food but cold to boot!!!! Bar staff, which consisted of one person, was painfully slow, and even chuckled when I complained and asked for a refund! Other diners were also complaining! Shoddy service, incompetent staff thoroughly shocking experience!!!! Hasten to say we will not be returning!!!"

Food was awful chips hard chicken nuggets were strips and overcooked , the corn on cob was cold ! Beer flat as a pancake , really awful would not recommend eating here !

This restaurant only seems to stay in business because of the nearby hotel and clueless tourists. Save yourself the trouble and visit THE PLOUGH down the street instead. It's the place to be, trust me. Ver carta

I had a great experience at this restaurant when I went there for Sunday dinner last week. The price of £11.99 for two Sunday dinners was incredible. I wasn't expecting much for that price, but I was pleasantly surprised by the superb quality and generous portion sizes.

The best I've had from a restaurant! Ever. Friendly and sociable atmosphere. Fabulous staff. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Menu is very clear on allergens. The vegetarian menu is as extensive as the non vegetarian options.

"Best home cooked food, possibly the best pie I've ever had in my life!! Tuesday night, 16 live acts, the detail and professional equipment Mike has put into this place is second to none. It's a pub with everything you could ask for from a pub! "Came here for lunch with a friend I hadn 't seen in 30+ years. Small wait for a table, but shown to a table by a gentleman and given menus. He failed to explain that you have to place an order at the bar, although asked if we had any allergies, so we talked for a bit expecting waiter service. We both ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and chips this was £9.50 plus £2.75 for fries. The good came out reasonably quickly. The Philly was supposed to be brisket with onions peppers and cheese. Not much meat in it and oddly it had red kidney beans in it. Whilst not allergic, I 'm not keen and noticed that the "brisket chili was also on the menu. All I can think is they must use the same mix for everything. To me it was poor value at £13 for a sandwich and fries. It was very busy so it must be popular, but there are much better cafes with better value in Lichfield Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £30–40 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3"

"Loved the experience. The service was enthusiastic, and felt genuine 'Welcome to Thailand! ', in the words of the staff. But the food was simply delicious. We had a satay chicken, that was well cooked, and the peanut sauce was lovely. It came with a good arrangement, and a sweet sauce on the side (plum...? . For mains, we had a Pad Thai Pork, and a Beef with Chilli and Basil. The beef showed three peppers for a spice index, but was not that spicy. The flavours were beautifully balanced, and where the beef simply brimmed with taste, the pad thai had a brilliant texture and nutty under taste. All in all, definitely worth a visit."

"Lovely friendly pub with a homely, cosy feel. You could see it was a locals pub but we were made to feel very welcome and there was a lovely atmosphere. We didn't eat but the food looked nice and was reasonably priced. We played at the weekend there for a birthday party. Load in not very direct if you have a lot of heavy gear but set up and break down was easy and the sound was good Nice place, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit"

"Absolutely amazing chippy, can’t rate them enough so friendly happy to help and the food well awesome, and properly cooked chips nice n brown yummy.. 2 days later I’m back at the Fradley Fryer I wasn’t sure on what I wanted, so Mike the owner gave me a few samples of meat to try.. safe to say I had a mixed kebab with chips. The chicken was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth and the chips it’s like the old days. Thank you so much for the great food and the chat!!!! Go and visit the Fradley Fryer you won’t be disappointed, and there are a few surprises on the menu"
