"Popped in here for a quick dinner on Sunday night. Food was above average though not outstanding. Jaeger schnitzel was terrific with the mushroom sauce being a highlight. Pork knuckle was also good with the sauerkraut the highlight. Beer on the expensive side but food...cheap. They tried to charge us for two beers when we only ordered one. Seemed a bit dodgy so they may have tried to target us as tourists..."

Nice atmosphere, friendly service, fair price and good food. Small complain: slightly overcooked meat.

All right! very German bar, typical eating and local beer, only one problem. no English menu and waiter looks like you don't want to speak English: but that's not a problem: anyway, everything was good:

Looks like a good choice but it is not. Very noise (it is a guess house too), lot of bunch of people just drinking and shouting. Food is really bad and there is only one girl serving 10 tables and the bar... Ver carta

Nice traditional German restaurant near the train station. Food is good & at a great price. Service is polite but a bit slow. If you're just passing through and want some real German food, this is a good place to stop.

we were 7. waitress a little impatient, not friendly, a smile of her would have been welcome. on a Saturday evening. quieter place. we got the haxe served with potato and sour wort. nothing specific. better ate. honest price

Food is tasty, portion is large, feels like traditional and real German. Near the train station, English speaking, fine service but CASH ONLY. However, both of my friend and I had terrible diarrhea after having the pork knuckle, so please be careful. Ver carta

Been eating here for years every time I come to the Frankfurt Messe to work. Nobody knows about it, not fancy and looks like nothing from the front. But inside you find real decent German food served simply with plenty of beer to wash it down with. Will always come back here.

Located in the Frankfurt "Bahnhofsviertel" (Translation quarter) a bit dirty area. From the outside not very turning but inside quite nice and cosy - german "Gemütlichkeit". And as the name says in German "Fennigfuchser" maybe translated to look after every penny - budget food and drinks.
