"Very disappointed. The poor waitress had to work on her own and with a full restaurant this was difficult. She did her best. A young chap behind the bar didn't seem to be much of a help frankly. He kept on forgetting to give people their wine that they had requested! We were not allowed to choose where we sat and had to sit where we were told! Unusual The food itself was also disappointing. The starter of fish cakes was quite good but the lamb and rice, in a bowl, was uninspiring and I would have liked some fresh vegetables. The desert, a crumble for me, resembled breakfast muesli and having mentioned this to the waitress, she did nothing to deal with the situation. My friend who paid, remarked that it had been expensive, (even with a voucher), and we will not be repeating the experience. The interior and exterior of this restaurant is stylish and modern."

Great place with lovely healthy food! Service was a bit slow but I'd still give this place 5 stars.

fantastic place well worthy of a 5-star rating, the menu is not their typical style t, they have their own twist on dinge there and the bio cola is amazing Ver carta

The food at this restaurant is both delicious and healthy, and the staff is attentive and conscientious. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to my friends!

Second visit,my partner is vegan,i cant believe how delicious a meat free meal can be.Only downside was there wasn't any white rum and it should have been in stock. I don't drink wine and prefare Bacardi/white rum.

Came a few weeks ago, this place has a great variety of things to choose from. Soft drinks, cold drinks, healthy drinks and cocktails. The food had a good choice, maybe a few more plates could be added to the menu but still not complaining. Was very impressed and will be returning very soon. Ver carta

This small restaurant located at the Saturday market has both outdoor seating and a larger interior than expected. We enjoyed sitting outside on a Monday afternoon, people-watching. The service was efficient and they offered a great selection of coffee and tea, including some unique and exclusive blends. The wine list was also interesting. The coffee was hot and of good quality, although the cups were small. The cakes, like the celestial and polenta muffin, were moist and tasty but a bit pricey. The menu was diverse, healthy, and perhaps slightly exotic, but definitely intriguing. They also offer monthly themed evenings at their dinner club, serving three courses for around £22 per person, w...

"Last night was seriously disappointing at Lucia’s Beverley. We’d booked a table for 8 to celebrate 3 birthdays and were looking forward to some great food, atmosphere and company among friends in a vibrant restaurant on a Saturday night. We got seated in a cosy area of the indoor part and began to enjoy our night. After eating our mains we were approached by a bouncer/door man, who came over to our table and told to to keep our voices down!!! Bearing in mind we were a party of 8, it was a Saturday night in what’s know as a vibrant lively restaurant in the centre of town and we weren’t shouting or using bad language. This absolutely RUINED our night. Who wants to be told this while having a good night eating dinner among friends? After spending a fair amount of money on bottles of Prosecco, other drinks, starters and very average tasting mains we were made to feel like naughty school kids in the corner (despite us all being in our 40s). We have never felt so offended! The comment from a bouncer (not even a friendly waitress), was absolutely uncalled for. There was an older couple on a table next to us (who we can only assume we’re the ones who complained about our high spirits) to warrant this over the top and completely unnecessary telling off. We had planned on staying in Lucia’s for more drinks and desserts but quickly vacated to another venue after the lucia fun police showed up. A shame for the restaurant in times of economic hardship as the table wouldn’t have been filled after we left since it was around 9.30pm. Given the food was disappointing too, we have all decided we won’t be back to this restaurant any time soon."
