"9CHF for a medium portion of fries.. I checked with the waiter, showed him and he confirmed that it is indeed the medium size. Their extra scoop that they mention? If I already had a medium fry we could talk about it.. Average burger, not particularly tasty. After reading the responses to the comments, it is interesting to read the “we take your comments into account” or other “we cook fresh products in front of you which explains the price”. However, nothing changes, the cheddar and the sauces are not homemade, the rolls piled up in plastic containers under the work surface, so it depends on what you mean by fresh... 9CHF for 3 fries “fresh”, we must not be far from the 95% margin. Never again in Lausanne, very different elsewhere."

A burger costs fr. 20.— is expensive and not much on the plate. The fries cost another 20.— taste good. Fries are made from fresh potatoes.

Super five guys, much faster than the one in Geneva that i tried once and same taste as the original one, a bit expensive but it is switzerland. The gentleman that was in the lobby (kyann i think was his name) was very kind. Super recommended! Ver carta

If Pulp Fiction was set in modern Lausanne it could involve a plot point focusing on the absurdity of the Five Guys 10 CHF milkshake (rather than a 5 dollar shake). This Is easily the most money I have ever spent on a freaking regular old milkshake!

Took my son to Lausanne for a treat and he wanted to go to Five Guys. When we entered at 14:30 on Saturday afternoon they told us they were closed despite the opening times on the door contradicting this What was worse was that we got no explaination and no apology. Just rudely told they were closed. Utterly disappointing experience.

The burgers and hot dogs are good BUT: the bill is really expensive, one of the two drinks machines didn’t work, the drinks served were warm and the ice machine didn’t work. When I told staff about this, they said they would replace with a bottled drink but…it wasn’t available. You’d expect they’d refund the drinks but they didn’t, so warm coke and no ice. Not good 5 guys, not good! Ver carta

It’s expensive, the burger is good no doubt but given the price you have to do something with the Coke machines. I visited twice in 6 months. No ice and drinks are flat. Customers are literally wandering around the store asking where the ice is. This really ruins part of the experience and it challenges your ability to charge that price premium. Fix your machines and make the ice dispenser work.

Worth It ! The same ppl that probably complain about the quality of McDo and other fast food chains are likely the ones complaining about the prices at Five Guys. You can’t beat the quality here and that does have a higher price tag. This satisfies my cravings for an actual American burger and not the “artisanal burgers” so many restaurants seem to serve these days. This is the real deal. Enjoy it (in moderation like everything else in life!
