called in for an ice cream with my wife christine on Friday 11th , both opted for the Eaton mess, food was nice but service not the best, no please thank yous or curtesy at all, all seemed bored and uninterested.

Lovely lunch Reasonable priced Track and trace in place and table service You pay up front, which was ok. But no one checked in on you and we wanted extra drinks and had to wait till someone cleared a nearby table. This is why they didn’t get 5/5

We arrived at 7:20pm, 40 minutes before closing time. The restaurant had a strong chemical smell, presumably from the cleaning products being used. When we entered, we were informed that they were only offering takeaway ice cream. Why would they close so early if their closing time is 8pm? Ver carta

Visited the shop while out with my children. We had tea and Ice cream. Food very poor and expensive. Children's hot dog finger bun literally cut in half with cheap small hot dog in it which wasn't eaten horrible. Chips were also horrible and cheap. Potato skins very greasy. Would not go back over priced p cheap quality food.

We visited on October 4th, 2020 and were very impressed with the food and portion sizes. The staff were quick and efficient, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was great. The track and trace process was done promptly before we even sat down. Overall, we loved it. I ordered the chilli nachos and found them to be absolutely delicious. The kids had hotdogs and chips, which they enjoyed as well.

Visited today with a friend for coffee. Staff not really helpful. I asked if they sold teacakes and was told to look at the menu, in an off handed way. Coffee was nice as was the teacake too. Offered jam and butter which was good. Biscuit provided with the coffee also Msic was too loud hard to chat with each other. Mentioned it to staff but no difference. A pleasant attitude would have been better. Ver carta

Was very disappointed to find this is NOT dog friendly. We sat outside on pavement seating at our own initiative, staff did not mention this option just a blank 'no ' when asked about being dog friendly. Pavement seating is a bit tight due to raod works, but guess this will be temporary. Good range of food available but best known for ice cream desserts which are just delightful. Kids sizes available too.

Had been looking forward to coming here but wasn’t worth the wait. Long long wait for two crepes and a single scoop ice cream, over 35 mins wait. Could see others who ordered after us received their food before us, even two families that had main meals, so no idea what happened. Staff were all stood about talking, not very approachable or friendly, none of them cracked a smile. Toilets stink. Way overpriced for what you get.

We were warmly welcomed with the track and trace procedure quickly completed, and then we were escorted to our seats where we observed them being thoroughly cleaned before we sat down. Taking advantage of the eat out to help out scheme, we ordered a black and blue burger, scampi and chips, a fully loaded mint chocolate chip waffle, a chocolate milkshake, large cappuccino, and a coke. The total came to a reasonable £16 for everything, and the food exceeded our expectations. The presentation was excellent and all the dishes were delicious.
