Fabulous food, great service, lovely atmosphere and a stunning location. My favourite place to eat in town, it never disappoints!

This is the place to go in Lerwick! Had a delicious breakfast on Saturday and a devine dinner tonight. Fabulous food, fine wine and excellent service in a beautiful location overlooking Breiwick Bay. Highly recommend!

Fjara is reliably great everytime, but today was REALLY great- lunchtime scampi special was spectacular! Huge portion, beautifully cooked- delicious. Plus one of the best flat whites anywhere, lovely staff and amazing views- unbeatable!

First class. Super friendly and helpful staff. We had all sorts of food allergies in our group and all of them were accommodated without any fuss. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. There’s a great ambience and a terrific view.

We had the steak and the salmon and they were delicious. Best meal I've had on Shetland so far, in fact best meal I've had out for a while! We were early for our reservation but the busy staff were very welcoming. I had an iced chai latte instead of dessert which was delicious. If.i could give six stars I would! Ver carta

Wow wow wow. I can not fault Fjarå whatsoever. The first thing that pops into my mind is Eating here whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner is like letting your tastebuds wrap themselves around a really good book and just don’t want the experience to finish. The decor The attention to detail on presentation of the food and drinks. The food itself The staff All wonderful I shall be back time and time again. Thanks folks 10/10.

A excellent dinner at Fjara. I had the slow cooked lamb and it was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. A delicious combination of ingredients and flavours. Definitely the best land dish I’ve had in a very long time. For dessert, the pineapple upside down cake was lovely and rounded off the meal well. The service was excellent, being both anticipatory and attentive. In short excellent food and service in a very pleasant atmosphere. Recommended if you are looking for somewhere nice to eat in Shetland.

The location is what it’s all about here, set right on the water with floor to ceiling windows, this casual cafe serves everything from breakfast, coffees, right through to dinner. We first popped in for coffee after a busy day touring about, late afternoon on a Friday and the place was probably half full. We were back for brunch/lunch on Sunday and it was full, with tables turning over pretty well. Having said that, we loitered with our meal a bottle of wine and there was no sense of being rushed out the door. Very relaxed. Food is good without being great, but it’s a cafe, not fine dining. Plenty of staff, all young and generally pretty good. Give it a try, it won’t disappoint. Ver carta
