Forresters Inn Center Parcs Elveden

a tall ish guy stocky build didn’t catch the name badge seemed to be harassing a girl while at work it made me feel uncomfortable being able to see it happening however no one else tried to step in

The Forresters was quite quiet when we visited so service was quick. The food was lovely and the portions were large. The wife had trouble finishing hers. Went as a family of 4 and all the orders came out without a hitch and quickly. Desserts were delicious. 10/10

The food at this restaurant was terrible. I ordered the hog roast sandwich and it was served to me completely cold. Even after reheating the meat, it was still not edible. It's disappointing because the staff were so friendly and the restaurant itself had a great atmosphere.

Everything was very average, food was like normal pub grub but with higher price tag. Toilets needed a bit of a deep clean. The kids play area was good fun. It was very quiet though so good if you prefer that sort of environment, prob because it is out of the way from main village.

First of all, I was shocked to be charged £7 for a pint of Guinness at this restaurant! The food was average at best. My pregnant wife asked for her steak well-done, but it arrived rare. When we sent it back, it came back clearly deep-fried and was dry and inedible. Very disappointing experience overall.

We went in on Sunday at 2pm for lunch. It was not busy. We had to ask several times for more drinks and empty glasses to be cleared. We also had to ask for plates to be cleared after starters and mains. We then had to ask for the bill several times, and then get up to get it paid. The staff were just standing around talking to each other. We would not go back.

Came to centre parcs and decided to come to the Foresters Inn for Sunday roast and am very sorry to say that I was not impressed. Maybe I am exaggerating a bit, it wasn’t that bad but, nothing special really. The beef was chewy and inconsistent, the pork was good, far too much chicken for one meal. The fact that the boneless chicken was grilled did put me off as it was a bit dry and chewy and didn’t suit the whole roast dinner vibe. The carrots were far too undercooked, same with the rest of the vegetables, the carrots were close to raw.

We weren't sure what to expect given some of the recent negative reviews. So we were very pleasantly surprised by just how good the service was from Jordan) in fact it couldn't have been better. No point in me grumbling about the meal being expensive it was, but that's Center Parcs for you. We only had standard pub dishes: prawn cocktail, fish and chips, burgers, etc. But all was absolutely fine for what it is. The pub is further away from the centre than the other restaurants, but it was still only a gentle 10 minutes' bike ride from our lodge.

We were disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow, with a wait of 45 minutes for our food to be served despite it not being busy. The food was cold and the plates were red hot, indicating a problem in the kitchen. The staff did not seem happy, with one waiter even placing a tray of food over our toddler while serving us. When we pointed this out, he didn't seem bothered. Additionally, a service charge was added to our bill without our consent, which we had to ask to be removed. We will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.
