There are hardly any gluten-free options available, only a few cakes and very limited choices from the menu. The staff is very uninformed and unhelpful.

Lovely breakfast very hot and tasty Service was good and polite The place was reasonably clean and bright Shane about paying 5p for sauce which Is the only thing I could say was negative

Visited Fortes restaurant Burnham on sea with family all very much enjoyed our meals. Food was lovely,good value for money good service and didnt wait long for meals. Would definitely return again. Ver carta

3rd in queue yet still took 20 minutes to order and recieve a couple of drinks, asked for ice cream while ordering drinks only to be told to join another queue, the place is ran by a swarm of headless chickens probably getting paid the...

The gluten-free carrot cake was delicious. They informed me about which items were fried with gluten ingredients, so I easily swapped my fries for a jacket potato. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and the staff were friendly, helpful and patient. Overall, it was great value for money.

Terrible service went in for 3 roasts 1 meat 2 vegetarian they said they had chicken for the meat eater but just a plate of veg for vegetarians n there gravy is made of meat there is no other option for vegetarians I stated it’s a bit discriminative against vegetarians n they said YES they like to be So vegetarians Don’t bother entertaining them ! Yes, Forte's is a little gem of a cafe with a very wide selection on the menu. This time my friend chose steak baguette, chips, cole slaw, all with cheese sprinkled on top! It looked absolutely delicious and my friend confirmed it was as good as it looked! I had cod, chips, and peas which were really fabulous, the cod in large moist flakes done in perfect batter. Toilets are pristine! And this cafe is really inexpensive! So it has our Highly Recommended review!

My mother has reported that they provided a meal today that was not what they actually ordered. When this was challenged the staff members were rude and said “if you don’t want to come back don’t come.”This despite my mum being a regular there with her husband. To top it all they said they would look at the CCTV which apparently has sound??? They returned and said the sound was switched off. I don’t think they should be voice recording which is a massive intrusion of privacy laws as a business. I’m not surprised that there are other poor reviews in this place and we will not be visiting again.

myself and husband decided to stop at this cafe for some breakfast as we were on our way to Cornwall for a few days and as it wasn't the nicest of days we have had many breakfasts at this cafe and the place is always nice and warm and food hot but on this morning the cafe was freezing!! we sat there with our coats on we ordered food which when it come out the beans were cold eggs were cold the only thing that was hot were the mushrooms!! I understand business are struggling with energy coats but really isn't nice to expect people to sit in freezing cafe please consider putting the heating on !!! Ver carta
