Fantastic pub food, in fact, it goes beyond pub food but at pub food prices. Fantastic service as well. Very impressed

very nice and clean, but very only 2 other in the dining room the meals were all very good, but I couldn't find a word about the meal times of the renter art and wise

Just moved in around the corner so thought it was best to try. Excellent drinks and well presented food at a very reasonable price. Will definitely become a regular visit

Very enjoyable ,large plates of food at a reasonable price, infact the signature fish and chips was so large I couldn't finish it ,but most enjoyable 10 out 10 ,well done shaun and his team

1st time I have been here. Welcomed by the bar man Shaun who was extremely pleasant. Took our drinks and sat to peruse the menu. Shaun took our order and food arrived in good time. Lasagne, haddock and chips, and ham and eggs all cooked to perfection the chef, Dan. Amazing food, great service and highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

In for lunch with my daughter, ordered on the app which was super quick and easy. Food arrived after 10 minutes, it was hot and tasty. Wendy was an absolute superstar, she was looking after all 3 areas of the pub on her own (no easy task! but remained friendly and helpful throughout, was very impressed. Would definitely recommend if you want tasty food with great service. Will be back again soon.

Excellent pre Christmas meet up with ex colleagues. Plenty of choices of beer, sad they have stopped serving Punk IPA but had a nice equivalent in Bevertown. They accommodated 22 of us and we pre ordered our food while drinking and we were told when it was ready. Food choice was really good, just good pub grub. I can't remember the guys name that looked after us all night, even after our food he kept us topped up with drink, 5 stars for him alone.

absolutely brilliant little local pub! I myself, my partner and our pup skye love to go to food! Eating is always hot and fast served, workers are always happy to help and so beautiful that they have a good old chat away with them! Eating and drinks are really good value and if there are any problems that personal like to help! we love the fact that we can take our pup, even if we eat! there are designated seats for those who do not want to be with dogs, so all around very accommodating!

Lovely wee Pub. FOOD IS AMAZING. When I visited it was packed really busy staff were racing around sweat dripping off them yet the food was still top notch just because they were busy their standards didnt slip. Staff were nice attentive. Only down side was it was boiling!!! Hot summers day outside and they didnt have any windows open already a small space with limited ventilation and the heat was torture. The radiator in the bsr was on!! They have a number of Tvs dotted about mainly playing news channel but No volume! The booth seats had their own small tv which looked to be playing a quiz show! Better!!!but again no volume. The price was very reasonable for what you get. Nice sized portion...
