This was my second visit, and likely my last. The food was poor, and the service was even worse. This doesn't meet the standards of the Hawksmoor group.

I visited another average Chiswick chain restaurant where the atmosphere and decor were better than the food itself. The Rockefeller Fizz cocktail I had was decent, but ultimately unexciting.

During our second visit to this restaurant, we were disappointed. The cocktails were good, but both burgers were overcooked. Additionally, many items on the menu were unavailable, which is particularly unacceptable for a Saturday night around 7 PM. Ver carta

The restaurant experience was rather odd, particularly with the new staff who seemed overwhelmed. Some orders were taken quickly while others took forever. The employees often promised to handle things, but they kept forgetting time and time again. The bottomless coffee wasn’t refilled as it should be; in the US, servers typically refill without prompting, but that wasn't the case here. The staff were friendly, but they seemed easily distracted, and the overall system just didn’t seem to function well.

We spent a very enjoyable Mother's Day here having the Sunday roast with friends. It was very busy but the staff did a great job. So it was a big surprise when we learned the next day that's it's closing next weekend as Foxlow weren't able to make it work in Chiswick. A pity. We've been a few times before, the staff have always been great and the space is attractive. The menu is perhaps a bit limited. We have a lot of choice of eateries in Chiswick but a shame that this one is going. I hope the staff all find alternative work.

I went out for a special mother's day lunch, I thought the the food was off poor quality and really over priced for what was served. I had the salmon and everything was really oily and was also served vegetables on the side which was also full of butter, spinach and the potatoes were just drained in oil not a very nice tasting experience. My mother had the sunday roast and this was very disappointing there was hardly any veggies served yorkshire pudding was tasteless. The prices for these meals for fairly expensive and they also add service charge on top and i think as they are closing down in the next week that they just don't care anymore. Ver carta
