"This was my first Indian restaurant visit after my visit to the best ever Indian restaurant in continental Europe, so my standard about food were too high which explains the good rating instead of very good. Firstly it is hotel by Bangeldeshi German which has...Chef from Kolkata that means food has a lot of East Indian flavor instead of Mughlai or North Indian flavor that one would look for in the dishes they offer. I would not say it is bad but it is a different taste than authentic North Indian/Punjabi/Mughalai. They as most of the Indian restaurants in the area do not have a Tandoor(Indian clay oven) so your Tandoori Chicken would be actually from electric oven. We ordered Chicken tikka(as starter) and Mutton Korma. Chicken tikka was taste wise ok as it missed the feel of tandoor. Mutton Korma was nice, especially gravy was very Kolkatan. Surprise was Naan, so we were supplied with a bread which could come close to a Sheermaal but definitely not a Naan. I explained to the waitress and she later agreed. I liked the decor cos it was not very trying-to-be_stereotyped-Indian it gave a very nice German look. Most appealing part was the service, very friendly half German daughter of the owner waited our table. She did her best to explain the food, was open to opinions. Overall good experience, would definitely visit it again myself and recommend others."

The service was good with nice indian style dress code for the waiters. The food was good but the naan were not the real ones but instead more of bun. We were welcomed though it was nearly fully booked. The price is more on the...higher side.

gandhi obviously tries to be a somewhat better class Indian restaurant, but fails to recommend on too many levels. some small taste highlights like the dives for the starter and the chicken quality. mainly they can be made by very amateur service.

Good Indian food. Unusual in that it will serve most dishes cooked in three degrees of spicyness And then bring curry paste to the table in case you want to spice up your plate. As far as I could tell, real spices were mixed in...house for the dishes. Has recently expanded, so more seats available now!

Me and my wife walked for Mins to reach this restaurant only to get a RUDE shock from the German standing on reception , the time was and still there was mins to close but he said kitchen is closed and asked...us to go !!! Anyways it happened for good that we saw a new restaurAnt by the name PUNJABI where it was opened till and unlimited Indian food for euros , avoid GANHI restaurant at all costs!!!

I know how Indian curry should taste, example birmingham balti near where I lived. also were in goa india. the gandhi was the worst curry I ever tasted in years of eating curry. no fresh spices, from a glass. I could. on and on, but obviously many people here don't know how a REAL course tastes, not a curry sausage. I will not waste my time. the food was filthy and very expensive. avoid them at all costs, and I can post pictures, but they will want you to be sick up) so take my word on their own costs.

As non-German customers, we were really mishandled, specially by the waitress, who saw an opportunity to make money on us main dishes with some Nan Brot and a bottle of cheep Indian wine amount to a total bill of euros not worthing...it ! After our order was taken, we were told later on that it would take half an hour or more to serve a Dhal Shorba or a Mulligatawney !!! The Lamb Madras Subji contains in fact of Beef meat (my spouse dicovered it) ! The Machi Curry was prepared with frozen fish ! No credit cards are accepted ! An ING bank Maestro card (world-wide accepted) was refused because not issued in Germany !!! It is simply not to recommend at all !!!

"I am always surprised to read what is called "best/s... the city". ".bester döner, best coffee, best burger, best pizza, otherwise the city/city/in town/in Germany." Because of me. is all subjective. Regarding riano: I don't think it's too overwhelming. positiw is that the pizza is made fresh, you can watch that is thin and crispy. You can also sit if you want - the prices are identical when picking up or eating in the local.Shouldingly, this beautiful crispy teig is neutral. The covering (example "pizza margerita)" consists of a thin layer of tomato sauce without special aroma as everywhere. as in this country almost everywhere; sun-ripened tomatoes are not to taste. is probably due to the fact that always finished sauces are sprinkled - because good tomats can also be obtained with us around this season (and then this tastes better and could also cost two euro more). then the cheese - yes, there is unfortunately nowhere that is used (the card with dye - that is no mozzarella). I liked it after the usual pizza cheese, except that I'm hard on it. basilikum leaves were not on it, but are not on the map. This (big) "pizza margerita" with 28 cm costs at the time 4.90 euro. the price is from my own in order, more is the pizza overall but also not worth it. at the more expensive pizza prosciutto about 2.00 euro, a round disc was sloping and distributed on the above-mentioned pizza. The service is basically really nice and friendly (but please don't lie down at "my best", "my dear", "my friend")."
