"A friendly welcome from the entire staff and free choice. The interior looked well maintained, clean but also came out in the years. We didn't hesitate long and sat in the fresh air. There can hardly be a better situation than this! At least in summer, it's just fantastically beautiful at Wakenitz. Gandhi has 3 big plus points in our eyes! 1. At this beautiful location you will also have a large outdoor terrace with direct views of the water, the boats and the idyllic opposite shore! 2. they have opened from 11.30 p.m. every day! 3. they have a lunch table with reasonably priced dishes that change every 2 weeks. Unfortunately spoke to us about the current (cheap lunch card nothing andie dishes on the normal card were priced quite expensive, but it was worth it! So we chose a mixed salad with homemade cheese on the way. Very delicious, fresh and slightly Indian. As a main dish, the Chicken Curry talked to us most ( chicken breast fillet in Curry cream sauce and all again with duck : Our food was kept warm by the small golden heat tanks. Both the rice and the meat and the (richly available sauce .... everything was very delicious! For this we chose Achar (inlaid sharp Indian supplements Hmmdas was not so much our case. The sharpness was pleasant but the taste was too peculiar; Conclusion: We come back! Preferred in good weather. Friendly service, nice restaurant, great location, delicious food and the servings were just right. The prices are not just small... but if the food is right, it's okay for us."

Great food, pleasant staff, reasonably priced. A bit odd, that you can't pay with a credit card. Nice view over the water. A good experience.

We're on the way here. The good reviews have led us here. Although it was quite late (22.00 we were very friendly received and served. The food was excellent and worth it. We are happy to come back to Lübeck next visit:

Top address when it comes to Indian cuisine! Super food, fair prices and very friendly service. A little far away... but not from tourists. The location, right on the Wakenitz, is fantastic and in summer you should secure a place on the Terasse. (Pre-order table) Unrestricted to recommend! Ver carta

Very tasty food, the best Indian in the city in any case, the portions make pleasure for more and I often wanted them to be a bit bigger. Unfortunately, the waiter is a little unfriendly and has an energetic effect even if it is not stressful, but it does not stop us from eating there! Prices are decent, not too expensive, not too cheap, you get something for your money. We recommend the Butter Chicken and the Mango Lassi!

We're not coming back... An Indian atmosphere does not come up. We had three appetizers and four main dishes. Appetizers and main dishes were delicious, but we could have eaten the food at home on the sofa and so it was nothing special. But the service was the real reason we wouldn't get out. We had to wait a long time before we could order, and between no one came to ask if we still want something. When a lady came, she asked if everything was fine as soon as she asked (mouth was full) she was gone again. After our drinks were empty for about 15 minutes, we have to actively pay the service. The division of the bill into two was also a big problem. All in all, it was too expensive for what w... Ver carta

I've always been tempted by an Indian, but I've never trusted. Now it was time and a friend and I wanted to try the lunch table here at Ghandi. The greeting was very friendly and we had a table on the huge terrace, with a fatastic view to Wakenitz. The maps came immediately and my girlfriend ordered something like Kardi Paneer (Ind. Cheese, gebr. Parika, onions, fried paprika and casheenus sauce) and since I have no tendency to vegetarian food, something from the lunch table with duck and other treats. At least for me there was a small snack with curry and vegetables and she ordered 2 pieces ind. Kichererbsenchips with Tamarin sauce also called Pappadam. The rest then came very fast, was del...

Wheelchair drivers should avoid this restaurant, the steep staircase is an insurmountable obstacle. We made the ascent and don't know what's going on. I am not sure if I would call my restaurant `Gandhi`, the small nickel glasses nightwear as a gallion figure for a dining room that is already dared. Let's see if the courts here are worthy of the great name. It looks tidy at this place, hardly anything remembers the Asian country at the first moment. The welcome is friendly, a table in the window is so many, still free and we get the menu with the typical local offer. The view is pleasant, the Wakenitz and the opposite shore also fall this season. Alsbald is dressed, drinks are served quickly...

"Before visiting Lübeck, I made myself intelligent. Googlete after a good pizzeria and with it the Romana was right in front of Lübecks and thus well reached. We parked in the opposite parking lot Aldi. We had no reservations on this stinking Tuesday night and got a table like this when we arrived at 5:30. We have the menus and ordered the drinks (Weizen 0.5l for 3,00 € and water 0.2l for 2,00 € . From the rich offer we chose an antipasti dish for 8,00 € with peperonis, olives, ham, melon pieces, tomato mozzarella, cheese, salad, artichokes and each one pizza once Siziliana with tuna (7,00 € and once Calabria (7,50 € with paprika, ham, mushrooms onions). When we came, I felt the music a bit too loud as we were sitting under the speaker. On my request, the waiter reduced the volume to a pleasant measure. The ambience was very welcoming and the restaurant tastefully decorated. Mediterane wall decorations aroused the appearance of being directly in Italy. Bruschetta was greeted by everyone. The Antipasti was then served together with homemade bread. Wow, what a part. If I had eaten this alone, I would have been tired. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Hardly had we put the empty plates aside, they were already cleaned. Shortly afterwards my tuna pizza came. I almost fell out of my eyes. They didn't see the plate that big. Next came a noodle dish. Didn't we order? The waiter had understood 33 instead of 23. Okay, he could apologize and evoke the pasta in the kitchen. Some Golocal later commented on the right dish woven. An eyewitness like the first pizza and just as delicious. I still fought. Either the pizza threatened to slip away from the plate when cutting, or the entire base went over the table. In the end I had the faxes thick, cut the revolts into smaller pieces and took them in the hand. Satt, tired, tired! When the service asked if he tasted, we could only hunt. He offered us a schnapps we rejected as we had to drive both. Instead, he offered us a cappuccino, espresso or coffee as a bag. Yeah, we liked this offer. Then we waited...and we waited...and we waited...20 min. Then we spoke again with a service staff and the black hunters were brought to the table. We then also demanded the invoice, which was extremely favorable with a total of €27.50. Ambience, taste of food, price / performance and kindness of service has earned 5 stars each. Unfortunately, I have to take a star for attention as he is twice. Overall, however, I can award 5 stars here, as I have rarely eaten so good food SO cheap. It is also not surprising that on Tuesday evening the situation was completely occupied by 19.00."

"Short description: Nix to meckern. Great! .... Very long review: The approach is very special: “You drive from the city centre to the Travemünder Allee direction Herrentunnel and take the right path at the toll station (check box and say that you want to go to the Herreninsel and open the barriers. After the toll station, keep on track and turn right about 60 meters, sign “Am Stau”, there take an island ticket at the barrier. In the curve opposite the bus stop, our parking possibilities are then.” So read on the website. And how it worked. We climb a staircase to the first 1st floor and if it weren't so dark you would have a nice view of the marina at the traffic jam. The welcome is very friendly. The ambience maritim. We are assigned a table that is beautifully covered, everything is signaled everywhere: This is a restaurant facility right at the marina. And so every guest is treated like an old sailing friend: we will... At the first moment I become defensive, but at the second moment I have the feeling of knowing service and at the same time co-ownership of the Norman restaurant with name for years. The man understands his craft, he's the friend of the guests and with heart blood. The very chic menu reads like a logbook, good, yes, in a complaint (please check on the website . I decide for the local court “Pasta Mumbai with grilled chicken fillet, Thai Curry Sauce, Junglauch and cherry tomatoes at 12.50 €”. Mr. LUT chose duck with red cabbage, small clubs and Bratapfel at €21.90. A perfect choice as it turns out. For drinking we order a rose-golden Hövels beer 0.3 l to 2.70 € and 0.5 l to 4.20 €. When the topic Dessert is addressed – we choose the “Sweet Seafarers” Sining Hot Cinnamon Plums with Walnusseis and whipped cream at 5,00 €” Standards have a secret in stock. Who advises what spices were used, except cinnamon with the plums gets an espresso or coffee donated. We don't think it's the Tonka bean and pay our espresso. (1,90 € All in all I can only report well. We will definitely come back if the days are longer and life is returned to the sailors. Then maybe on the terrace high droben on the first floor with views of maritime events."
