"We stopped at this restaurant on our way back from a trip to Carnoustie to pick up some takeaway pies for dinner at home. The pies we had, bhuna and macaroni cheese with pickles, were delicious. While a bit pricey, we appreciated that they use homemade products and quality ingredients. The rest of the menu also looked promising. The restaurant is in an unusual location, but it is simple both inside and out. It may be small, but it is very clean and tidy. We were served promptly, but had to wait 15 minutes for our takeaway coffee, which felt like a long time. Unfortunately, there were no vegan options available for one of the people in our group, which was disappointing as he couldn't eat alongside his family. It's hard to gauge the demand for vegan food. Overall, I don't think it's worth traveling from Glasgow specifically for this restaurant, but it's a good choice if you happen to be passing by."

"Hate to say it but the food is diabolical I specifically asked if the roast potatoes are real and not frozen the waitress lied to my face frozen rock hard roast potatoes dry meat. Fajitas I needed to drink after every mouthful as they were so dry noodles all Stuck together with cold sweet chilli sauce from a bottle thrown all on top. Oh and the fudge cake was also shop brought literally nothing we had was home madeNot usually a complainer but for what we paid this was awful the waitresses were only young so not their fault but we had our desert brought to us while there was dinner plates still on the table. It was all just a shambles to be honest."

"Have been here a good few times now and still cannot fault this place, food staff everything is spot on. We have booked and also took a risk with just turning up, for such a busy wee place they still manage to squeeze you in, sometimes only managing to give you an hour but you take what you can because you can’t beat the home cooked meals and cakes all baked in shop. Looking forward to our next visit as il be trying the chilli loaded nachos next! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"They were able to accommodate our group of 11 with ease. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the staff were all very nice. They had no issue catering to gluten-free dietary restrictions. We definitely plan on returning in the future."

"This was my first visit. Lovely and clean, staff were efficient and friendly, but we were disappointed to see a large group of guys in there early 20’s crowded round the bar, some not wearing face masks and certainly not adhering to social distancing, when I went and pointed out to the manager he did speak to them, but it did affect our visit. Starters were delicious and a very generous portion but unfortunately there was a foreign body in my food that they tried to pass off as a piece of onion skin, but it looked more like a clear finger plaster. When we got our bill they had charged for my meal and we had to ask for this to be deducted as I had hardly eaten any of it. All in all a disappointing visit."
