"We stopped at this restaurant on our way back from a trip to Carnoustie to pick up some takeaway pies for dinner at home. The pies we had, bhuna and macaroni cheese with pickles, were delicious. While a bit pricey, we appreciated that they use homemade products and quality ingredients. The rest of the menu also looked promising. The restaurant is in an unusual location, but it is simple both inside and out. It may be small, but it is very clean and tidy. We were served promptly, but had to wait 15 minutes for our takeaway coffee, which felt like a long time. Unfortunately, there were no vegan options available for one of the people in our group, which was disappointing as he couldn't eat alongside his family. It's hard to gauge the demand for vegan food. Overall, I don't think it's worth traveling from Glasgow specifically for this restaurant, but it's a good choice if you happen to be passing by."

"During our stay at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel, we ventured into town and stumbled upon a charming café called Franck’s. Despite its bustling atmosphere, the friendly waitress managed to find us a nice table. We hadn't eaten breakfast at the hotel, so we decided to give it a try. The meal exceeded our expectations - even though I had been on a diet for a few months, I couldn't resist indulging for a few days. The breakfast and service were excellent, and the staff seemed calm and efficient. I highly recommend stopping by Franck’s if you're ever in Carnoustie - you won't be disappointed."

"We had two GF pizzas in two days from here, and all were fantastic. My kids who are GF very rarely eat there pizzas, however, it was their choice to go back. Marie and her staff were first class and very accommodating. Highly recommend this place."
