"We have been skiing in this area every year since 2008 and one of our highlights is always walking or skiing to Zug and enjoying lunch at the Alpenblick. The restaurant is very welcoming, gives a lovely Alpine glow and is really nicely designed and decorated. The food is consistently outstanding. This year, we had wonderful, calves liver, scampi, zwiebelrostbraten (beef and onions) in the past we have had good goulash, kasespaetzle (Mac and cheese), Wiener schnitzel, we have never been disappointed. Then to top it all off we finish with strudel, either apple strudel or topfenstrudel with vanilla sauce and whipped cream. This place is a delight."

We had dinner there recently and can't speak highly enough of it. Everyone was happy The Kaiserschmarrn was just delightful. Excellent service. Price 27 euro average per main meal, normal for Lech Zug). Will go again if I ever make it back there. Ver carta

Getting old, vision failing, no longer enjoy skiing in white out. WHAT TO DO??Lets walk to Zug and enjoy a great lunch at Gasthof Restaurant, and that is what we did.I had the trout, which was excellent, however, the goulash looked fantastic. Save room for a shared strudel.

We took the fee bus to Zug from Lech.In this cosy restaurant the typical Austrian menu had plenty of great choices including scrumptious apple strudel with vanilla for desertWe took the scenic walk back to Lech along the rivers edge in order to work off all the delicious calories

Had an evening meal on Thursday 9th March 17 in a group of six. A friendly welcome and fast, considerate service, lovely atmosphere, pleasant surroundings, good food, reasonable prices. Can provide vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and egg-free menu items. Not far from the centre of Zug. Ver carta

Charming and cozy dining experience. Felt like being at someone's home. I particularly liked the Lamb's Lettuce salad, the ribeye and the boiled beef. For dessert, we got the chocolate mousse trio, which was yummy. The restaurant is small, so be sure to book. A bit on the expensive side. If you want fondue, you have to order it ahead of time. Service is on the slow side, so expect a long dinner.

We visited this restaurant twice during our skiing holiday, once for lunch while skiing through Zug and couple of days later for a fondue dinner. Both visits were enjoyable. Meals were so filling that we could not even try their strudels, which looked amazing. Yet another reason to visit this place again. Please not the if skiing there is a small climb from the ski lift. We left our skis in the racks at the lift. You can also carry your skis up and place them in racks provided in front of the restaurant.

"we were in the red wall for the third time - every time for a week skiing ende januar. we can still recommend the hotel in a warm way, even if it is not cheap. the offer and the family, very customer-friendly service justify the price. our last rating of 7th februar 2015 is therefore still valid! location: train is 3km away from lech. no problem, the free shuttle bus to lech will travel in 20 minutes. -Tact and below the hotel a 2nd chairlift leads directly "from behind high" to the ski area of lech. This is also connected to stubborn ones since this year and thus the most beautiful ski area of Austria.EXPARTMENT/CIMMER: the hotel consists of 5 underground connected houses, so it could retain its charm despite the extensions in all the years. This time we had a normal dz in the house a, right above the restaurant and the pool area. the room is simply equipped, but is completely enough. from the restaurant (and the pool) we heard nothing. the location of the room at the back with a view of the house "red wall" was a plus point. the gym is modern and comprehensively equipped and mostly humane. great for those who still have energy before or after outdoor activities! the Cardio devices have tw. the wlan, which otherwise works in the whole house without any problems and free, but does not work in the gym.The indoor pool is very small, the outdoor pool somewhat larger. for a relaxed splash it longs. we did not use the saunas. we can't say anything about the child paradise. but as a childless couple are happy that there is one;-)practical is the ski cellar with ski rental and repair directly in the house.ESSEN: we can only swarm. absolute top-class as regards variety, fantasy, regionality, fresh, taste and loving preparation. next to breakfast and evening meal, the afternoon snack is a highlight where there is always warm, diw meat/cheese slices, salad, fruits and homemade cakes. at the latest at dinner you can feel or taste the effect of the 3-hip chef manuel digner. traditionally rounded off by the one-time cheese-suffet with over 70 sorts (unfortunately still without Swiss cheese;-). Only one improvement point: only one coffee machine for self-catching is a little bit in stosszeiten zt. and also the wine prices are rather high. only the frequent questioning after drinks requests at the afternoon snack was perhaps a little too much of the good. chefin and chef are present daily and the chefin works in various areas as if it is the most normal of the world. that it had many masters before location, speaks for the service and the whole offer in this hotel.FAZIT: on this location everything is for a perfect ski holiday, even if it has its price. I'm sure we'll come back, maybe even in the summer."
