"This was a lucky find, as I was very late arriving in Munich after a long drive back from South Tirol, and checking into a hotel. I 'm a great fan of Bavarian food. The Biergarten was well lighted and seemed very cheerful on a warm late Summer evening. I was entertained greatly by the menu, which was handwritten in nice Germanic script. I chose a beef dish with mushrooms and kartoffelklose and sauerkraut. A half liter of Helles to wash everything down aided my enjoyment of this well prepared meal. Large portions. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Will probably return on my next visit to Munich."

Wonderful restaurant with good service. The waitress and the entire staff were very helpful to recommend dishes that translate the menu. The Munich Schnitzel was excellent.

Ate here while staying at a chain hotel next door, lovely food and service in a charming small traditional restaurant. Had a good salad, great schnitzel and wonderful apfel kuchen for dessert. And beers and a schnapps, indulging in my last Bavarian meal before heading home to Oregon. I travel to Munich annually and this is the real thing. Highly recommended, and yes the menu is in a flowery traditional script but it’s short and the staff will give you a quick and comprehensive oral translation.
