Friendly staff, great beer and food! This restaurant has a very German feel to it with a lot of history on the walls. Would definitely recommend this to anyone

Really lovely, intimate restaurant locally to where we were staying. Great food and really good service. Not much around where we were staying so delighted with this little gem.

Great hidden gem in Laim. Crispy pork and pork leg special were fantastic, as was the cream cheese appetizer. Swift and snappy service, great beer, and an inviting beer garden. All around great place for dinner. Ver carta

Traditional Bavarian food, good portions and reasonable price. It is particularly nice when you can sit outside during summer. The service is better than in the German restaurants of the center. Well... That should not be so difficult ha.

I happened on this restaurant while spending one night at the nearby Park Hotel in Munich. (see review). Residential area about Ubahn stops from the Munich main train station. Popular restaurant with locals. Truly excellent schnitzel at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend...this restaurant if you are in the area.

A weekend getaway with the family to Munich we had two tickets for the Bavarian game against the VFL Wolfsburg. The division saw an excursion to the Alianzarena for the Great and me and a visit to the Nymphenburg Castle with the Dino Museum and the visit to the Toy Museum for the Little and My Lady. I am not a big fan of german food, but this restaurant just changed my mind. I have never tried such a good and crispy schnitzel, I would definitely order Wiener Schnitzel and Dom Schnitzel when I came back! They were simply amazing and savoury....The goulash is another must try. I’ll come back to Munich just to eat those schnitzels. The restaurant is perfectly clean with a nice bavarian vibe.

Having lived part time in Munich for over years I've been so disappointed in the way they overlook fish here. Even the posh town restaurants and expensive Italian places kill it. This wonderful local restaurant, with Croatian cooks and specialities, as well as Bavarian...and German specialities ie Koenigns Berger Klopse (meatballs in a creamy caper sauce) never disappoints. And the spare ribs are brilliant. Lovely beer garden, opposite the Furstenrieder stop, it's brilliant value and good service.

I went without a reservation and the hostess was accommodating. I suggest people call and reserve a table, it is small and popular. Food was excellent and of course the beer s always great. I had an EXCELLENT kalbsbraten mit spezle typical Swabian style and...a huge salad, both items NOT what I ordered but good nonetheless. Ambience is typical of a gasthaus, wood everywhere, checkered tablecloths etc noisy and rowdy, especially because little kids where screaming, I guess it is better when you can sit outside in the garden. Loved both waitresses and the very smart waiter, however I would like to see some “gesture” for the mess up with the order. Also, if you want the kasersmarm, you have to... Ver carta
