"The restaurant is located in the village of Buchholz, a part of the town of Waldkirch. It is in many ways typical of restaurants in this part of Germany - clean and efficient, with a comfortable dining room.The food, however, is considerably better than average for this kind of restaurant. I had a rather simple dish - pork schnitzel with spaetzle and vegetables. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and the spaetzle were of very high quality, as was the schnitzel. I also tasted the steak with pepper sauce, which had a delicious sauce with a strong hint of mustard. The dessert was a white chocolate mousse with blood orange sorbet and macerated kumquats. It was excellent and certainly more creative than one would expect in a family restaurant of this type.The waitress was extremely attentive without in any way becoming obtrusive or irritating. She was one of the most professional waitresses I have seen in German restaurants.Overall, I recommend a dinner at this very pleasant restaurant."

Hier genießt man Badische Weine mit den Spezialitäten der Saison; ein Menü kann man wählen oder selbst zusammenstellen. Auch kleine Portionen sind so groß, dass man wohl gesättigt ist! Alles kommt frisch und lecker auf den Tisch – auch manches, was man woanders nur noch schwer bekommen kann, wie z. B. Rinderzunge in Madeira. Köstlich!

A great kitchen with delicious dishes that are freshly prepared and lovingly prepared. Appealing menu, friendly staff with professional behavior. In the beer garden (reservation absolutely necessary) one sits under large, shady trees. We were guests in Buchholz and tried the vine without great expectations and were so pleasantly surprised. Der Rebstock ist ein Haus, in dem sowohl Feinschmecker mit Sinn für besondere Speisen wie auch "die Herren vom Stammtisch" einen schönen und guten Platz mit einem hervorragenden Speiseangebot bekommen. Badische Küche, einfach, aber sehr gut zubereitet, neben aufwendigeren Speisen und Menüs aus der kreativen Abteilung. Der sehr nette und aufmerksame Service bemüht sich um alle gleich, egal ob beim Wurstsalat oder beim 4-Gänge Menü. Und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist auch sehr gut. Meine absolute Empfehlung im Elztal!!!
