Gasthaus Schwanen - Carta

Homely feeling in this old style swabian inn. Classic food from the area, fantastic prepared and served. One of the oldest inns in Schwäbisch Gmünd.

the dinner was fantastic! the owner visits every table and asks if everything is in order. I always recommend if you really want to eat something delicious!

we were back in the blur last night. eating was very good and economical moderate. we then had to find out that a 0.75 l bottle teinacher medium costs 6.20 euro. that is clearly too much. Ver carta

a beautiful, traditional house with charm! furnished as it must be an old Swabian restaurant. original service, if the senior boss serves with very special Swabian foam, which you have to extra beg out! everything in all makes this gastronomy fun!

in well-kept athmosphere we celebrated, with excellent eating, that I would not have expected to be in the swan. a super buffet with many variations and special eating. it has super tasted. great service powers that could you read the wish of the eyes :) Ver carta

now 21 euro for white calfscarf I expect more.Why unfortunately very little......Fleisch!!!! After the flour coat was gone, I saw how small and thin the carving was.Salat was fresh and delicious. very great. Conclusion: quite ok, for the price you can expect more.

This place serves amazing quality local food, in an environment that is fine, if a little dated and perhaps even somewhat austere. Service is nice, but they may struggle with large, international groups like we were. The English menu does not contain everything the German menu does, so better use the German one. Better come in "normal" group sizes, less than 20, if you happen to be an international crowd.

writing such an evaluation makes fun. we were in the black and ordered carvings with late zle and sauce yesterday.The carvings were thin with a perfect panade. the late and soaked from taste perfect. so I know this from my youth and that's how it must taste. When I was asked if I wanted another potato salad, I was overjoyed. such a good potato salad is very rare. my daughter was made happy to the dessert with foam. Thank you very much. Ver carta
