old fashion with typical German food. meat was very good, my beer too. small, but full of tourist. the location and view from the window is great.

Great pub at just across thecriver at the end of Iron Bridge. Food was excellent as was the service and beer prices were definitely lower than the other side of the river.

We were back here in December and goose was in season. We had the goose leg (Gänsekeule) and the goose breast (Gänsebrust) and were as good as I had expected. And the bar was decorated for Christmas.

Went inside the restaurant with 4 adults, 3 teenagers and 4 children 's. Got rejected on the basis that kids may be not quiet . Very unfriendly behaviour. Restaurant was half empty, enough space for all of us. To be avoided with your family.

We try to stop here anytime we're in Frankfurt. The food is really good, and they have a few varieties of Bavarian beer from Schappenseppel brewery. This time we had the duck breast which was fantastic, and a big sausage with whipped potatoes (Kartoffelpuree) which...was tasty.

Was supposed to be meeting friends at Bootshaus opposite on the river, but even though their website said they open at midday there was no sign over an hour later so we tried the gasthaus. It's tiny but has an old world character and serves...great beer and food. I wouldn't say the staff were rude just a bit quirky! We had a great time and I would definitely return

Food is very tasty! Jägerschnitzel really worths a try so as the other dishes! To be recommended for sure.. Have to say we were quite surprised when the staff came to us with the bill without asking if we wanted something else (we actually would...have loved to try a dessert and even more when we got told we couldn't pay by card (why?? ! Can't give fore granted to always have cash in 2019, and my guests visiting would have really preferred to use cash for emergencies.

We stopped here for a beer after checking out the Iron Bridge. It seemed like a great local pub. However, the service was rude and terrible. In fact, the waitress (I’m sure the same one that others referred to in the reviews), made no effort...to communicate or even engage in conversation with us even though we were sitting at the bar. We witnessed two other people being treated rudely by her when they attempted to use the restroom. The other bartender (male) pretty much ignored us as well. Will not be back.
