What a great find! We randomly stumbled into this restaurant and were very glad we tried it. The ambience was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The dishes were a tasteful revelation and exceeded our expectations. An absolute must for all who love good food!

so once in a past you have a wow! experience in a restaurant. that was such an experience. fantastic, exciting aromas in every single dish. then we were allowed to visit the kitchen and meet the chef. kitchen immaculately clean, workers wear clean aprons, chefs welcome and proud to eat. that is what should be fine eating! Everything was fabulous that evening. The food was of very good quality (octopus and char were outstanding), the corresponding wine was wonderful and the service was always present and friendly. Meine Frau und ich waren an meinem Geburtstag im Stadtpfeiffer und es war wahrlich ein Erlebnis. Kreative Gerichte mit vielen regionalen Zutaten haben zusammen mit erlesenen Weinen einen unvergesslichen Abend geschaffen. we met the city cups in the frame of a full-day cooking course with 5-course dinner. it was a day full of culinary highlights and great to get to know the team that brought us closer with great commitment and enthusiasm their philosophy and craftsmanship. the menu was then made by products we worked during the course, such as picky saibling, lobster and scallops. the products are all made with much love and fun on the craftsmanship. the service has delivered us all day with matching champagne and weeps quite inconspicuous.

Während im Gewandhaus zu Leipzig direkt nebenan den Gästen freudige Oden für die Ohren dargereicht werden, reicht das Team um Detlef Schlegel im Stadtpfeiffer Oden für den Gaumen in flüssiger wie fester Form. Neben im Garten selbst gezogenen Zutaten und Pilzen selbst von Hand aus dem Auwald gesammelt, die zu Kunstwerken auf dem Teller angerichtet werden, verzückt zudem auch der hervorragende, sehr aufmerksame und extrem kompetente Service. Jedem, wie er mag. ist das Motto von Schlegels und Team. Und wenn man dann noch einen Tisch mit Blick durch die Fenster zur Küche bekommt, wird finalement auch das visuelle Entertainment bedient.
