"I was encouraged by the reviews that said this was place very good and very tasty. It's neither. Perhaps these people really do think this is good food? If so, they need to get out a bit more. The person from Utrecht who said it was on his blacklist has it right. Sparsely decorated and dominated by a large television with endless football matches on it it is unwelcoming. Perhaps they go for the large out of focus screen rather than the food? I asked to sit under a light so I could read. I was told 'NO', bluntly by the unsmiling woman who seemed to be the only waitress. The menu is limited to plain and simple food. Not necessarily a problem. I ordered Wiener schnitzel and was first served a small salad which included an overripe and dire-tasting slice of tomato. A glass of Coca Cola was served flat and at room temperature. At long last the weiner schnitzel arrived. A vast piece of tasteless schnitzel and over-salted 'fries' on a cold plate. I gave up three quarters of the way through - too much salt, too little taste and it had all gone cold. I ordered apfelstrudel. That took a while to arrive and when it did it was a small microwaved slice with some sort of custard, plus cream from a can and chocolate sauce. At least I hope it was chocolate sauce. All at room temperature again. You might expect to eat a dessert with a spoon. But no, here you have to make do with a fork. No spoons. Quite how you eat custard with a fork escapes me. To cap it all, I went to pay and was told cash only. This is perhaps the most technologically advanced country in Europe, its 2017 and they haven't got the technology of a card machine. To be fair they are not the only place that takes only cash. Fortunately I had just enough cash. I mildly suggested that this wasn't very good. An elaborate shrug of the shoulders and she walked away. Who cares? I'm just the customer. And then you walk outside through a fog of cigarette smoke. A dreadful experience. Since all my staff stay in the hotel nearby I will now warn them off and I will not go back there either."

This restaurant was found by chance when exploring Tubingen. It offered Greek German cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. The waitress was attentive and helpful. A number of locals there and appeared to be regulars always a good sign! The food was great as was...the beer! Love that German beer!

Este restaurante fue encontrado por casualidad mientras exploraba Tubinga. Ofrecía cocina griega alemana en un ambiente acogedor. La camarera fue muy atenta y servicial. Un número de lugareños allí y parecían ser clientes habituales siempre es una buena señal. La comida era excelente al igual que ... ¡la cerveza! Amo esa cerveza alemana

simply went to lunch and had a great overall experience. for beginners the woman was very nice and attentive there and made a brilliant aperol splash! we had the special that was a mixed salad with a yogurt-based dressing and baked aubergine. covered in tomato and mozzarella. both tasty and for under ten euro you can't really go wrong! we will come back!

Das Restaurant liegt ganz nett in der Altstadt. Es war schönes Wetter und man konnte im Freien sitzen. Da ich bei Griechischen Restaurants sowieso keine gesteigerten Erwartungen habe, konnte ich nicht enttäuscht werden. Ich habe irgendwas mit Auberginen gegessen. Wenigstens ist mir nicht schlecht davon geworden. Die Bedingung guckte äußerst mürrische, brachte aber auf meinen Wunsch eine extra Portion Brot. Immerhin.

we went to tubing tonight, the wiith two small children and the original restaurant for which we went was closed. this restaurant was open and the owner came out to tell us. Greek food was delicious and I have to say a lot. of the best I had in Germany and I spend a lot of time in Germany. the kalamari was good as the carving. the price for her eating was good and if I were back in this area of the city, I would certainly return. the service was also good. and as in previous reviews there were also local and tourists eating in the gaststatte bayern.

Take five study abroad college students from all over the world, add two parents, and the Gaststtte Bavaria, and you have one unbelievably delightful dinner. A German-Greek Restaurant? Yes! I had schnitzel and pommes frites, five had gyros, one grilled vegetables, and one tzsaziki (sp)....Many beers, martinis, and spezis, and an end of celebratory shots, a gift from the restaurant hostess in recognition of a birthday, made for fine food, fun fellowship, and a festive Friday night dinner. Imagine starters, at least two drinks for seven people, main courses all for under Euro! Great food, fine service, and room for couples, families, or a group! I recommend this cozy, unique restaurant.

I went to lunch this week with a friend here. while eating was nice, it was only average compared to other Greek restaurants in tübingen. eating is however as close, only a little improvement on taste would bring it to the same level as other restaurants. the dame and (I suppose) her man who leads the place are both beautiful and offer wonderful service. a lunch menu was missing. it was the same menu for the evening. Fui a almorzar aquí esta semana con un amigo. Si bien la comida era buena, era normalita en comparación con otros restaurantes griegos en Tübingen. Sin embargo, la comida está tan cerca que solo una pequeña mejora en el sabor la llevaría al ... mismo nivel que otros restaurantes.
