"Young chap with blonde hair (don't know his name) behind the bar was very nice. We went 2 nights in succession, once in the restaurant, once in the bar area. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. There was a tv which was thankfully off and background music which was just that, so good for us. It was tastefully decoated and furnished. Overall ambience of upmarket and quality. The weather was abominable and we went at night so can't comment on the outside. We didn't use the toilets. We would certainly return."

An absolute pleasure to have lunch accompanied with 2 locally brewed ales. The nibbles were all first class, the suet pudding filled with venison, pheasant, partridge and duck was cooked to perfection. No room for a dessert, just a latte. A truly great lunchtime experience Service: 5 Location: 5

The food is excellent the staff very helpful. You will pay a premium price be told you’re paying a 10% service charge on top. TBH if the management read this just put the 10% into your prices they’re high end anyway. All telling people you’re putting 10% on top does is **** them off. Hotel highlights: Luxury
