"Met and was shown round the Golf club today by Dave Poole! What a great guy!! Seems to have a genuine heart of gold... A warming smile and just down to earth and a pleasure to chat with. I was also shown round the gym and health spa by Jordan and he seems a great lad too. The rest of the staff I met were extremely pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. So that's the staff... The actual golf course itself also looks very good, a lovely 18 hole golf course with a restaurant, golf bar and function room which is a great space for weddings and functions. Very pleasant indeed and the food smelt amazing.. And they currently do a deal £20 for a 3 course meal which seems great value for money, will need to try it to confirm but I don't doubt it looking at the rest of the place. The spa and wellbeing has a gym as mentioned, a steam room sauna tanning room and a whole host of treatments from acupuncture to laser treatments from an extensive list of massages to facials, waxing to full manicures and pedicures. The best advice I can give is go and speak with Dave.. Meet the rest of team have a wander round.. Even try the food! Play a round of golf. "Lancaster Gate £5.55 Amstel The Swan Hyde Park, a busy historic pub ready to quench the the thirst of many a Hyde Park visitor. . The Swan was the busiest pub I had visited on my crawl across the North end of Hyde Park, this is probably due to its location and that it also sits on the ever busy Bayswater Road. There has been a pub on this site since 1721 and it is said that this was the last place criminals had their last drink on the way to be hung at the Tyburn Tree just down the road at now Marble Arch. The box seat to get when you visit here is the patio space out the front as this space was the busiest and had a buzzy atmosphere. I was with my sister and my brother in law on this crawl and they remarked that this pub was very much geared up to cater for the many visitors to the area. Inside you can see that a lot of thought has gone in to the presentation of this pub with the various murals, wood panelling and the many pictures across the walls. Overall, this pub felt like a nice environment to spend some your time in. There is a elegant dining room upstairs which leads to a balcony overlooking Hyde Park, this was hired out on the day of visiting. The service was swift enough and we didn’t have to wait long to be served and £5.55 for a pint was average for the area. . The Swan Hyde Park is a decent boozer with some nice features which is set in a great location. . Information correct on visiting 13/11/21"

"Wanted to go somewhere nice for breakfast where could be better than the Moat House. First checked what time the breakfast service was 9.00am 11.00am so booked for 5 adults 2 children 10.00am. Arrived a little early, as soon as we got there we were asked by the server to order I explained that there was 4 more to come and we would wait until they arrived we were then approached by a male member of staff who said we needed to order as breakfast finished at 10.00am. The rest of the party arrived at 10.07am as soon as they arrived they asked to order (everything so rushed) no flexibility with ordering for the children asked for egg on toast told no it had to be off the menu. As soon as we had finished the table was cleared no time for another tea or coffee. There was no others having breakfast there on this day. On a good note food good bad note service poor."

"What a beautiful place! The setting of the location is scenic like out of a movie! With a large pond outside the front. The hotel itself is beautifully rustic and makes you feel like your walking back in time. But it also has this modern element which is perfectly entwined. Would be a perfect place for wedding or christening. Was here for a work graduation afternoon tea. The room we had was right at the back of the restaurant and was decorated beautifully. The afternoon tea was delicious with a wide selection of food for everyone. The staff even bought us take away boxes to take the left overs away. Food drinks: Afternoon tea was lovely and very well presented. A good selection of food so everyone could find something they loved."

"First time at this restaurant so I guess my wife and I were comparing it to our usual favourites from where we moved. They were very friendly and didn't burden us with constantly asking whether our food was ok. Downside: no alcohol licence but we could have brought our own if we'd known about it as a glass of wine always does the trick for us with a good curry meal. We'll certainly be back to try other dishes on their vast menu. Parking: Parking on the street which was ok for us due to the early time we had for dinner, later on maybe a rather packed out road."
