Really enjoyed our recent takeaway during COVID restrictions . Excellent lamb kleftico followed by delicious lemon posset and sticky toffee pud. Nice touch with the accompaniments and Gimbals Spotify playlist.

without doubt the best place to eat in calderdale. they have come for years and have never failed to impress. personal friendly, good weeping and eating is the best I tasted, and I have eaten all over the world. taylor murphy.

We had a takeaway last night and it was fantastic! All 3 courses were exceptional and the attention to detail was excellent. The addition of a hand made night light and very sweet rose and herb arrangement just made the whole evening extra special. Thank you.

Really lovely place. Staff are so lovely. Food is amazing. Cocktails or drinks upstairs in gorgeous room, dining downstairs in small but comfortable room. Not wheelchair friendly though. Quite expensive, £100 for 2 courses for 2 but worth it. Definitely recommend.

we have already ordered a few times their food kits when we get friends, it's the best way to have an incredible meal at home. I couldn't recommend it better. they come in at a weekend and take them handful of their brilliant sweet and hearty tasty. I just started doing sandwiches that are divine.

great ice cream. we were several times in the rule as very occasional tasty for dinner, but the latest visit was for the early evening lounge menu. best remembered court is the Turkish joy egg awarded for pudding! eating varies from simple to really excellent and the decor and the atmosphere is too. not to find too many places that recommend in this part of the world for food, but gimbals is really worth (re)visit.

A wonderful eating experience from start to finish. The decor and vibe of the place is stylish and relaxed. Went as a party of 4 (and a half) , 2 vegans, 1 veggi and 1 meat eater and we were all catered for. We also had my 3 month old son, who I felt completely at ease feeding in the restaurant and the staff were lovely with. Absolutely amazing vegan food! There's an entire separate menu, giving you so much choice. Beautifully presented, tastes sensational. The staff are genuine, attentive and professional. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a special evening.

Just wow! I can’t believe we have only just found this place! It is an absolute gem! We had private dining for my 50th birthday and it was perfect in every way! We had the tasting menu which was absolutely delicious l. Every course was a delight and our guests (who are all foodies) all commented on how wonderful it was. The table was beautifully decorated and the service was impeccable and the team were so friendly and accommodating. I loved the fact we could take our own playlist and they moved the table out after dinner so we could have a dance floor! It really could not have been any better and we wouldn’t go anywhere else if we had another celebration meal to plan! . Thank you so much Gi...
