Grill 16 - Menú

Came in late after long work day, and ordered food for take away to room, so it was packaged, but the Cesear sallad with grilled prawns was delicious and well made with really good products.

Easy place to eat if you are staying at the Marriott. The menu is limited, but the food and service was good. Nice salads, well cooked meat, and attentive service *but limited staff. You can eat outside, where you are able to enjoy river views....Not inexpensive.

After a long day of traveling we decided to eat at our hotel and we are happy we did. The service was great and the menu had some very nice choices. We ended up having the Cobb salad and the schnitzel. Both wher every good...and the desert menu was excellent as well

Grill 16 offers a convenient location for dinner in the Heidelberg Marriott. The outdoor patio is the ideal spot for dinner if the weather cooperates. The steaks were prepared correctly, and the sides were good. If you are in Heidelberg and looking for a beef...steak, give Grill 16 a try!

Stay at Marriott for four days and enjoy the facility the Grill 16 is nice and sitting in the the courtyard watching the Rhine river is certainly relaxing after a busy day. Breakfast is great and have reasonable selection. The staff are welcoming and you...can communicate to the staff in English without any problem.

I was looking for a steakhouse for having a late lunch (2pm) and since Heid's opens at 5pm only decided to try Grill 16. We were not disappointed. The waiter was very helpful to arrange the tables in the way we liked. The...Rib Eye steak was one of the best I had in while. The Spare Ribs were very good as well. We spent some 2 hours and enjoyed the serene setting with the Neckar flowing nearby on a sunny day.

Used this restaurant several times for breakfast, snacks and dinner whilst staying at the Marriott. Nice, bright and clean inside, with a large patio area outside, right next to the river. Breakfast was buffet style. Not cheap if you want a full breakfast. €24. Good...but not great range of cold and hot options. During the day, this is primarily a steak restaurant. Very nice food but again I would question the value for money. Overall service was very good.

The scrambled eggs are served as a brick. If you ask for fresh without a liter of oil in the pan the “chef” gets grumpy about ruining his pan. How can you screw up eggs? Its the first culinary step above boiling water. Got burger...at for dinner and asked for medium rare for my 19 EU burger. Was told “our frozen patties can only be served well done for safety”. It arrived with 5mm of burnt crust on one side. Eat here if you have to but better choices nearby.

We had a rough 36 hours and stopped in the Marriott for a nights stay. We have favorite restaurants in Heidelberg but it was pouring rain and we were very tired so we gave Grill 16 a try. Average, is being kind. After initial drink...orders when we wanted something I had to say ‘Hello’ as no wait staff were in sight. My steak was close to medium rare but I was so hungry I let it go, my wife’s steak was very far off the mark and when the brought a new filet it had been pounded down so it would cook quicker, not perfect but edible, but a sad meal at 37 euro; plus they appeared to have put her potatoes in the microwave to keep them warm as they we warm but mushy.
