The fish and chips were tasty, but the fish was not very good. The prawn cocktail was bland and needed more sauce. Some background music would have been nice, and the staff were not very welcoming.

Quiet, relaxed and very clean. Wonderful food that was clearly made fresh but still came out quickly. No issues with car parking. There is plenty of options for sitting inside and out. Would definately eat here again.

We had a perfect Sunday Roast today ! The food and service were absolutely brilliant ! Would Highly recommend ! All the food was home cooked. There was a lovely selection of vegetable’s. One of the best roast dinners I have eaten out in a long time ! Thank you ! Ver carta

Didn't feel welcome despite booking. The owner was exceptionally rude and felt we were an inconvenience. We would have gone somewhere else if we hadn't walked across from Sampford Peverell and needed a rest before returning back. It is a shame for a local pub as the staff work really hard and always remain cheerful.

The food was good and the waitress was ok but the attitude of the man behind the bar was disgusting. He came around a couple times and snatched glasses off the table and after our meal we were told to come to the bar to sort out our bill as if he wanted us gone as soon as possible. No Thankyou or was everything ok, just a rude attitude. Will not be going back until he’s gone.

I always make sure to avoid service stations and instead stop at a pub just off the main roads on our way to Cornwall for lunch. It's a great way for the kids to stretch their legs and enjoy a good meal. We found a big car park next to some sheep, which the kids loved, and a nice garden where we could eat outside in the sunshine. The pub serves delicious food, especially anything from the local butchers, and the kids menu was served quickly. They also had a good selection of ales on tap. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return soon! Ver carta
