"update: I stayed in the hotel and her breakfast has the most vegan options I have seen so far: fresh made vegan waffeln and porridge, vegan cheese and sausage, hearty spreads as well as vegan nutella. they have soy, oats and rice milk, vegan cake, a hudge musli selection, nuts, fruits, smoothie station, infused water. it was a really great experience! since I found literally zero vegan options in normal restaurants in kitzbühl we came to the q ressort restaurant. they have a 4-course menu that is available daily with options for meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan. If you don't want to have all 4 courses, you can skip one, but I don't know how much less they will charge you. all 4 courses are 39€. the first cure is a salad buffet, where no desires are open to vegans - only the thing is that they do not label the different salads so they need to ask what they can eat. but it is also quite obvious as some have a few have a yogurt/cream based dressing what they can see. most are however with oil/ginegar. the courses were with seasonal/local ingredients and the taste and the presentation are really nice. the service and the wine were also exelent. I think next time in kitzbühl I'll stay in this hotel."

at first we were very enthusiastic about our dinner in happy kuh. Finally, a vegetarian/vegan option in kitzbuehl (which is usually a very fleshy place) is a great thing. we ordered the (free) vegan menu at happy kuh you can only order a fixed menu without flexibility. the dinge started ok, with a very standard salad buffet, followed by a beautiful soup soup so far no complain. for the main course super oily and half burned stir fried rice with sweetness (we expected from a restaurant in a wellness hotel to come with something more creative and less oily) and then came the dessert. it was from bogur, it was sour (painted as balsamico.) it tasted in the ground like salat remnants. it was real...

Initially we were very excited about our dinner in Happy Kuh. Finally, having a vegetarian/vegan option in Kitzbuehl, (which is generally a very meaty place) is a big deal. We ordered the (expensive) vegan menu at Happy Kuh you can only order a fixed menu, with no flexibility. Things started ok, with a very standard salad buffet, followed by a nice pea soup so far no complain. For the main course super oily and half burnt stir fried rice with vegetables (we expected from a restaurant located in a spa hotel to come up with something more creative, and less oily). And then came the dessert..... it was made of bulgur, it was sour (tasted like balsamic)... it basically tasted like salad leftover...

we were in the Q resort in kitzbühel and have breakfast and dinner in this restaurant. many vegan option to breakfast: sweet and vegetable mills, brot, vegan cake, spreads, vegan cheese and suitable can ask the server for. sweet and fruits. for dinner there is a separate vegan menu that changes daily. they have the salatable that of what I saw is completely vegetarian with many different options such as pasta, beeping, raw vegetables, picked vegetables, potato salad vegan and not, much broth and spread again. then there was a suppe, a main thing and a dessert. very creative eating only with sweetness. no soy or sincean, which was great. I would give the food for dinner between 3 and 3.5 beca...

"Eating lobster in Kitzbuhel is counter-intuitive and this place confirms it. Apart from serving different types of lobster, it also serves Argentinean steak in a hot stone , some shrimps (imitation of the Spanish gambas al ajillo and that 's pretty much it. It also serves appetizers...and salads -we went for the scallops and the double -salmon and tartare. The four scallops of the appetizer are small (in the US they are called bay scallops , flavorless, and they come with slices of a cheddar-looking cheese, croutons, everything on top of a salad full of dressing. This combination resulted in a bad dish in desperate need of re-thinking. The Double was quite decent, with the exception that the tartare had no toast. The dish came with butter though, which was then probably meant to be eaten directly with the tartare without toast, or with the heavy bread below the salmon. Fine, whatever. The tartare was good and the Salmon OK. I must pause on our food here and focus on our neighbors ' food, unfortunately. They ordered the Argentinean steak . We noticed it because the smoke of the skillet (skillet, not hot stone btw, in spite of the menu saying hot stone came straight to our table, since the tables upstairs are very close to each other. As a side note, Argentineans do NOT grill their steak this way -it would be outrageous. The way this restaurant serves what they call Argentinean steak seems to be close to the way the Japanese grill their Wagyu -which is grilled on a skillet because the large amount of fat permits it (and it tastes incredibly delicious . However, taking what would otherwise be an amazing Argentinean steak and slicing it in thin cuts -and then giving it to the customers for them to fry in a hot skillet (that gets cold with time, something we could tell by the diminution of smoke invading our table should be punishable, if not by jail, at least by bad reviews . The lobster came and, in this case, the flavor of the sauce (we ordered the Chardonnay was better than the ingredient itself. The lobster was reasonably sized, and for 70 Euros you can have a better one probable anywhere, with the possible exception of Kitzbuhel. By then, it was hard to smell the lobster -all we could smell was our neighbor 's food. So.... don 't go there. It 's bad, it 's overpriced and you leave smelling of poorly cooked steak, even if you ordered lobster."
