"Overall Happy Valley represented good value for money, two banquet meals for £33 sat in the restaurant. Service here was very friendly and efficient. Soup and appetisers were all very nice, good ribs and chicken satay sticks. Must be honest the mains were not really to my taste, although there is a choice of 6 or 7 to choose from. The beef was too rubbery and the pork in honey was a very watery sauce, maybe that’s how it is supposed to be but it was a little tasteless. In summary, good value and pot luck with the food really as we were staying locally 100 miles from home and relying on Trip Advisor for recommendations."

For me it's the best Chinese takeaway in Norton/Billingham/Stockton, never had a bad meal whether it's been sit in or take away. Always use this place when we have a takeaway.

Came here for a takeaway on a recommendation and wasn't disappointed. Friendly staff, short-ish wait and great food at a reasonable price. Will definitely recommend to others.

Housr special curry was so thin like it was watered down and tasted awful.. the meat was fatty even the chicken . the chip were as dry as can be ..this is the worst curry ive ever had and ive had a lot.. very poor meal ..

Just had takeaway from happy valley. Chips were like cardboard absolutely crap. Chicken chow mein was ok no spice at all. Chicken curry was ok. Total dissapointment. Cant seem to find a decent chinese takeaway after dave retired from chung ying.
