Harvester Port Solent

eating was great, service was a bit slow, but it was busy. Disabled toilets were not clearly marked, and very close to a family restaurant that felt uncomfortable to disturb them

The service and food were outstanding. The staff was polite and efficient. This place is definitely worth a visit; I couldn't find any faults with it. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The restaurant is situated in a beautiful location at Port Solent, with a pleasant seat that offers a view of the water. The staff were friendly, and my steak was cooked to perfection. I would definitely return. Ver carta

The staff were very helpful, pleasant, polite snd made us very welcome. Food was excellent and reasonable prices. Everything was done to protect customers and staff from the coronavirus. Will definitely be going back there again.

Pre booked our table online and when we arrived we had to wait for our table to be wiped down etc . Food was average/ poor , chicken was burnt . Corn on the cob was dried out , pot of coleslaw was small . Onion rings were burnt and dry .

the restaurant was lovely ..good menu great staff ...my dessert was disappointing had the millionaires sundae nice sauce but only on top not throughout ice cream one pice of choc fudge...should gave been chunks...very disappointing not worth the money . downside all prices have gone up extraordinarily high now ..used to be a reasonable price Ver carta

Table wasn’t ready for our booking Husband wanted fish and chips. Didn’t have any fish. Ordered savoury rice it was hard and dry. Main plates not cleared away but waitress was outside having a drink. Son asked for Rocky horror didn’t have any. Ordered Eton mess sundae then told they didn’t have any icecream. Poor service all round. Air con too cold.

However, our experience took a turn for the worse due to the young man serving at the salad bar. He wasn’t wearing a mask and spent a lot of time touching his hair. To make things worse, he accidentally dropped a butter packet on the floor, picked it up, and then placed it on my plate! It was absolutely appalling. When I requested a clean plate and a new butter, he seemed displeased and didn’t offer an apology, which made me feel quite uncomfortable. On a positive note, the food from the kitchen was delicious, and the two waitresses did a great job.

Lovely little Restaurant overlooking the Marina, Ordered the Half rotisserie, Always tender juicy chicken, with a Lip smacking gravy! We went as a group of 4 with 2 kids... The Mrs. Had the rump steak done Medium.... Wooooooow... Each bite of beef... Yummy I shamelessly are from my brother's and sister in law's plates too..because the food was so tasty... They ordered the 3 item tapas... No regrets... The biggest surprise was the Cauliflower in batter ... I don't know why but I felt like there should be bucket options for that item...instead of plate... definitely recommend Ver carta
