Duck and pork were incredible! Tastiest dishes I've had in a while thanks too the lovely wait staff who made it an enjoyable night.

Great food! Quieter street....outside seating. Both my son & I enjoyed our meals very much. Since the menu is written on a chalkboard, I won't recommend an individual dish. Doubtful you will go wrong....

Stayed two nights in the hotel opposite, stopped by for a drink and stayed until closing last week....Great atmosphere and friendly staff, throughly enjoyed every minute there. Didn’t eat, but drinks and friendliness second to none! Ver carta

This restaurant is just around the corner from the Pullman Hotel. Complimentary bread basket, Goose and Cranberry and Walnut Ravioli, Pork and Cod all excellent. Wine recommendations really complimented the food. €110 for two starters, two mains, four drinks and coffee. For the quality of...the food and the service, well worth it. Highly recommended.

Hier ißt man immer ordentlich. Das ist mein Fazit aus zahlreichen Besuchen. Drinnen kann es bei vollem Andrang ziemlich laut werden und man sitzt relativ eng, aber herrlich ist es an einem Sommerabend auf dem Trottoir (die Straße ist wenig befahren). Die Küche ist französisch inspiriert, die Zubereitung tadellos. Mein letztes Pesto-Risotto mit Gambas war ebenso köstlich wie die Perlhuhnbrust mit Steinpilzfüllung. Die Bedienung: locker und liebenswürdig, das Publikum: Kölner „Oberschicht“ (Geldadel ebenso wie Künstlerprominenz). It is the second time that we visit that restaurant. Even though really busy the service is excellent and quick. Our waiter was really helpful and always available when we needed him. They is no menu, just a board with some five starters, five dishes...and some desserts. It is German cuisine but with a twist. What ever we ordered was really tasty and the quality of the food really good. The wine list has many German wines of good quality as well as European. Some might find it a bit pricey (compared to the normal German restaurants) but i believe that if you are searching for a special dinner the price is justified. We would definitely go back. We happened to be here in Cologne when the Northern California fires broke out Oct 2019. We came here each night for dinner as we waited as the firefighter fought back the massive fires at home. This group at Hase is above and beyond FIRST...CLASS...the food and service is all AMAZING we ended up staying here unable to go home for 5 tense nights. We felt a sense of home each night when they all welcomed us. We tried everything on the menu and it was all outstanding. This really was a special place for us. Die Mannschaft in der Küche hat schon richtig Spaß an Ihrem Job. Angefangen von wirklich perfekt servierten Fine de Claire Austern über einen gebräunten Ziegenkäse auf einem sommerlichen Salat mit einem hinreißend abgeschmeckten Dressing kann man nur die Note " sehr gut mit Prädikat" vergeben. Die Tagliatelle mit Kalbsragout und frischem schwarzen Trüffel verführten zunächst den Geruchssinn mit einer Explosion von Trüffelaromen um anschließend am Gaumen zu enttäuschen . Das Ragout vom Kalb war einfach nur flach und fade. Final gerettet wurde dieses Gericht durch die Zugabe eines kostenfrei auf dem Tisch gereichten ital. Olivenöl der Extraklasse. Der Service wirkt etwas künstlich überanstreng...

Wir sind lange Zeit nicht im "Hasen" gewesen. Grund dafür ist die unglaubliche Enge in diesem Restaurant. Es stehen 4 zweierTische nebeneinander ohne Lücke und das durch das ganze Restaurant. Es ist sehr eng und wenn es voll ist (und das ist es meist) auch sehr laut. Als wir ankamen, an einem Regentag und gegen halb eins Mittags, war es sehr leer. Deshalb haben wir uns auch noch einmal reingetraut. In dieser Hinsicht hielt die Freude allerdings maximal 20 Minuten. Das Essen (Karotten/Kürbissuppe, Salat mit Ziegenkäse und Pasta mit Hühnchen) war ausgesprochen gut und fair gepreist. Auch das Tagesmenü sah gut aus.
