"On each of our three recent visits we have been welcomed with open arms. Various meals from the menu were ordered together with a selection of drinks. Every part of the meal has been excellent including presentation, portion sizes and complete value for the price. The staff have all been great, including a very exuberant manager who cannot do enough to please and is very generous with his free offers (On the house). He is very forthcoming at the end of each meal to offer a free glass of Raki. Other than during Covid lockdown we have been going to this restaurant since the first day it opened and consider it to be an asset to Huntingdon. In our opinion it would be a complete loss to the town should it cease to trade. So give it your support."

"Stayed one night in room 32 as a Canadian, this venue gave us a true taste of small town in UK. The stand out for me was the front staff the woman (I believe blue glasses, didn’t catch her name) was what I remember most. She was so lovely, kind, welcoming everything you want when spending time at a venue. She took us to our room, explained everything we needed to know and made us feel very at ease. So thank you! Even the other staff we encountered were lovely. The location was so cute and beautiful, the room was very clean, AC was super appreciated, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Would recommend for sure."

"Cinta is by far the best Chinese around! I drive 30 mins to pick up this amazing Chinese! The curry sauce is different to others and the chicken balls are different but the best! The rice is cooked just right, not hard, chewy but fluffy just right! It was so busy! There was at least 50 orders going on! The staff was so calm and professional. Amazing customer service and food! I can't wait to sit for a date with my hubby, that would be nice. One day soon!"

"Just been here for lunch with my friend, who had purchased a Groupon for £39 supposedly representing a 50% discount. This was for '2 course meal with wine for 2 people '. What a joke!! We decided to skip the starter we were offered 2 choices of starter, which on the menu would have cost £4.80 , saying that we would prefer to have main course and a dessert. We were offered 4 choices of main course though the printed menu was extensive and very interesting . This was the Chefs special roast chicken, chicken casserole, hummus and falafel or vegetable curry. On the printed menu this would have cost £8.80. We were given a small glass of wine each. I must say, my vegetable curry was delicious! When we asked what options of dessert we could choose we were told that this was not an option, and that the deal only covered a starter plus a main course this was not stipulated anywhere on the Groupon description nor did the waiter choose to inform us of this when we were ordering, and discussing the idea of main and dessert with him. So for £39 we had eaten £8.80 worth of food each £19.60 plus 2 small glasses of house wine the menu doesn 't show a price for wine by the glass, but I really don 't think that would come to £10 per glass as a whole bottle of house wine is £15.49! We discussed dissatisfaction with both the waiter and the manager, but they were unable to she 'd any light on the matter, except to blame the problem on Groupon!! I REALLY CANNOT RECCOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT WE HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF!!! AVOID!!"

"The Black Bull in Brampton at 25 Church Lane in Huntingdon is excellent! Despite living in Brampton for 6 years, I had never eaten here, only had drinks. I wish I had tried the food earlier. The service from our waitress, whose name I unfortunately forgot to ask, was top-notch. She had only been there for 3 weeks, but she was friendly, attentive, and engaging. The food was unforgettable and of exceptional quality. I am usually skeptical of restaurants, but this one exceeded my expectations. I will reserve final judgment until my next visit, but I am already looking forward to returning. There were 4 of us in our group, and we had 3 appetizers, 4 main dishes, 3 desserts, 2 cocktails, 4 pints of beer, and 2 glasses of wine. The bill came to £78, which we thought was very reasonable. We visited on a Monday and the atmosphere was pleasant. The music was playing at a nice level and children and dogs were welcome in the bar area. Those who prefer not to dine with dogs can request a table in the restaurant section, which I believe they have, although I did not see it. They also have a large garden area where they host events like bonfire nights and live music evenings during the summer. Overall, I highly recommend paying a visit to The Black Bull. It's great to have a quality restaurant in the village that is affordable and offers delicious food and excellent service."
