Heritage Restaurant And Bar

First time at this boutique restaurant and it certainly won’t be our last, staff are extremely polite and courteous, food is top notch and it’s all surrounded by a chilled beats music/vibe that’s not overpowering, a literal hidden gem in Liverpool

Visited on a Saturday evening with a friend. We were not disappointed. Food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. The upstairs has been done out providing more tables and there’s a real chilled buzz with Ibiza style music playing. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Valentines dine and wine for £69 was fantastic value. That’s £69 for 2 people!!! The wine was lovely. The choices were vast and so delicious. Our waiter (only know his surname was Hughes) was fabulous. He even gave me a rose as we left. Definitely recommend this lovely, intimate, friendly restaurant Ver carta

Went here last night,had an excellent evening,the food was amazing and plenty of it,the cocktails are second to none.We had the small plates x 5 and a meat and cheese board,honestly it was fantastic food,really nice bottle of wine also. Terry the owner was more like a really good friend than someone working here,despite the fact Heritage had 2 members of staff short with Omicron Virus,this guy and his chef did wonders and we will definitely be going back here soon.If i could give 6 Stars i would and reccomend Heritage Restaurant highly.

Booked a table for 8 were seated upstairs. Seemed to take an age for our drinks order to be taken, then another lengthy wait before the food order. The food, when it finally arrived, was cold, we had to send a number of dishes back, when they were returned they had obviously just been chucked in the microwave, so the came back dried out or incinerated, far too long after the initial delivery so the rest of the dishes had already gone. I can only assume from other reviews that Heritage can cope with couples, but on this performance, they cannot deal with groups

First and last time we have visited this place. It was 4 pm and when we went in my husband asked if it was alright to have a table for drinks only and they said it was fine. Shown to a table and order taken for drinks and nibbles. After 20 minutes of waiting and the waitress walking passed our table several times avoiding eye contact we got up and left. Passing the bar area there was no signs of our drinks being prepared. I suppose they may have better customer service if you were ordering a meal but wouldn’t recommend if wanting drinks only. It would have saved a lot of time if they had said meals with drinks only. Ver carta

This was our third visit to Heritage over a couple of years. In that time the plates on offer have changed, but not our enjoyment of them. We had five plates between two and each of them was really enjoyable. Even the 'simple ' cauliflower with satay sauce was a treat and we enjoyed all of what we chose; Cauliflower, Meatballs, Patatas Bravas, Halloumi Chorizo and Chilli Prawns with Garlic. Also came with complimentary ciabatta and focaccia. Pretty good and reasonably priced wine, drinks and cocktail menu too. We totally enjoyed the food well priced overall, with friendly and unstuffy service. We 'd happily return (again).

Visited Heritage with the family during the festive season and the staff were so warm and welcoming that it felt like visiting an old friend! Amazing food in comfy surroundings… we started with a well stocked and tasty charcuterie board followed by small plates. The squid, wings, rare steak and chorizo halloumi skewers were delicious! Wish I could have tried every single plate but I will definitely be back. Also tried the Baileys Espresso Martini which I’m still dreaming about… Such a fab little restaurant with so much history lurking beneath! Our experience at Heritage was disappointing. The food was underwhelming no more special than what I could have made at home and portions are small for the price, even considering it 's small plates . e.g. the pan fried seabass literally one fillet of seabass, no garnish or sauce or anything, with the skin not even crispy, for £9. Hot chicken wings just seemed to be caked in chilli paste, not much flavour, only heat. The taste of the beef burger reminded me of a cheap burger from a van but for a whopping £10, not including fries! Thank god we went during the 50% off all food in January offer, otherwise I would be feeling thoroughly ripped off. The service was poor. Tables around us took over... Ver carta
