We booked here for Christmas Day evening meal. Food and service were very good - highest standard for the whole week that we stayed here. Simple mainly Austrian menu, cosy atmosphere and good price for the quality. Would recommend if you are staying in Obergurgl

1A Service (Dunja . Leckeres Essen, sowohl leichte (Fisch als auch deftige (Wildererpfännle, Käsespätzle, Cordonbleu,... Kost, ordentliche Portionen ein fantastischer Kaiserschmarrn. Alles in exponierter Lage von der beheizten Terrasse mit Blick auf die Skipiste oder in gemütlicher Stube. Wirklich empfehlenswert, waren direkt mehrmals dort und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

We shared a family farewell supper at the Hexenkuchl. The restaurant is small, intimate and special. Try the prawns in chilli oil as a starter and the beef escalope as a main, you will not be disappointed. The service is attentive and friendly. If you then fancy something a little more lively to compete your evening head to the Hotel Jenewein umbrella bar for some traditional late evening après ski.

If its too cold outside and the heated veranda is too busy why not try the Hexenkuchl inside the Jenewein Hotel. Originally there were many small witches suspended from the wooden rafters puppet style. Now they are more discrete but the snacks and drinks are many and varied.
